My favorite part was "Even without the most recent title, the Tar Heels would have been the best program the last 10 years."

Meet the kid that hasn't played a game of high school basketball but hold offers from UK, Texas and a handful of other D1 schools...Jaxson Hayes

John Wall was inducted into the UK Hall of Fame.

More for what landing him as a recruit did for the program than anything he did on the court I'm sure

At any rate it was pretty touching. He broke down crying thanking his mother for raising him.

He also said he was a Tar Heel fan and never imagined he would not go to Carolina.

Proof positive that, in the end, money talks.

yea Cletus, the truth

you make some glib remark about UK while ignoring that UNC is in the middle of the worst academic scandal in the history of the NCAA and present your viewpoint, based on nothing, as the truth.

at one point you had credibility around here.

Kentucky paid more. That's all I said. And it's true. Carolinas problems are substantial but a separate issue.

John Wall's in home visits started at $50K. There was a reason Duke & UNC didn't go after the best point guard in the country that year.

I wonder if they are focusing on Adidas schools.

Looks like Auburn, Oklahoma State, USC, Arizona, and reading between some lines, Louisville, among other unknown schools and the sport in general may have some issues.
