Senator Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton among nearly every demographic group in the Democratic New Hampshire primary, according to exit polls.

He carried majorities of both men and women. He won among those with and without college degrees. He won among gun owners and non-gun owners. He beat Mrs. Clinton among previous primary voters and those participating for the first time.

The PAH is .500 in NH, same as PeyPey in the SB....I guess she's a superstar....

Interesting that you rarely target them (or farmers or small business owners or anybody else that is traditionally viewed as the republican constituency) as basing their vote on how much free stuff they think they can get as a result of it...

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday delivered a major blow to President Barack Obama by blocking federal regulations to curb carbon dioxide emissions from power plants, the centerpiece of his administration’s strategy to combat climate change.

On a 5-4 vote, the court granted a request made by 27 states and various companies and business groups to block the administration’s Clean Power Plan. The move means the regulations will not be in effect while litigation continues over whether their legality.

hedge, I was critical of the bailout of the "too big to fail" banks in '08. That was perhaps the ultimate free stuff fest.

But come to think of it, the big banks are Hillary's personal ATM machine more than the GOP's these days. So you still may have a point after all.

Toe, Obama might just issue an executive order overturning that SCOTUS decision, and that will be that.

"hedge, I was critical of the bailout of the "too big to fail" banks in '08."

OK, one instance in the past 8 years. The rest of the time you've whined about minorities, the young, feminists (??), and the rest of what you take to be the core constituency of liberal politics as the primary greedy, "something for nothing" crowd whose venality and laziness are the main reasons Amurca can't sustain its current pace of handouts, blahblahblah. And yet it was your peeps in 2008 who really brought the entire economy to the brink of capsize. But hey, you were critical of them in 2008. The funny thing is that in your mind, that establishes your bone fides as an impartial critic. But really, in light of the nature and consistency of your rantings and whinings in the 8 years since, it merits (maybe) a golf clap...

Sardis,

I see the R candidates are gathering at your alma mater today. Will you be there?

Trump won't be there. He doesn't want to run the risk of accidentally dropping multiple f-bombs.

No, I won't be able to attend. Even if I could I wouldn't. Listening to Cruz, Carson, and Rubio in one sitting is too much punishment.

Probably none of them, even if I liked them. The only political events I attend are those little fundraisers you are obligated because it's client related. Otherwise, they are boring events.

Now that Paul is out of the race, I'm having trouble getting excited about any of them. I liked Fiorina, but she's gone too. I like Kasich, but he doesn't have a prayer either. I guess Rubio is okay.

With Scalia dead, maybe we'll get a do-over. Now that Thomas has no one to copy, we're effectively down to 7 justices.

JD,

Sometimes I get the feeling you don't like Clarence Thomas very much.

Just when I started to try to like Rubio, he goes all neocon on me. He did his best tenor imitation of Dick Cheney last night. Anybody who STILL thinks the Iraq war was a good idea doesn't deserve to be president.

Back to the drawing board....

Don't know the guy personally . . . I just look at his record:

- Has not asked a question since February 6, 2006.
