What, for all the sass their fans were spewing back then?

how low have things sunk, - the noon ESPN game with a broad for an announcer. Makes we wish Brent was calling it. Put this season out of our misery.

I think they are called "Estrogen-Americans" now.

Welcome back Coach Mullen, get busy recruiting and toss out the knuckleheads.

That's an excellent hire. Mullen's teams at Miss St always looked sharp and well coached.

<kicking off the cobwebs>A new season is upon us - not terribly excited about this year but not dreading it either.
Will win: ChasSo, Idaho, ColoSt
Should win: tucky, Vandy, Mizzou
Could win: Tenny, Caro
Haven't a clue: LSU, MissSt
Won't Win: FSwho, UGha
So somewhere in the 6-6 to the 8-4 range with a low tier bowl game to finish. Success will live or die with the Oline, hopefully Mullen makes the games at least entertaining, keeps the players inline and builds a good recruiting class.

Sounds about right. 9-3 would be a pretty good season. 10-2 would be a good season.
Mullen is an excellent hire. Your future with him is bright.

A standard tomato can opener. Everyone looked improved, but not much to take from it given past history.
Zook's opener - 51-3 against UAB
Muschamp's opener - 41-3 against FAU
McElwain's opener - 65-0 against EMU
Let's see what tucky brings to the Swamp.

Rat makes a rare good point.
What was Spurrier’s opener record? Dickey’s?

After what Tennessee fans have been through the past decade, it is perfectly understandable for them to swap their interest in football for basketball.
