What would be the sports tie-in with that? Biathlon?

They could reuse the sports tie in's they used for their pieces on BLM and gun control.

So is this all one-sided or is it part of a discussion? Sounds like you can't discern between the two. And you call yourself a professor.

And what percentage of this "liberal advocacy" accounts for total programming on all of ESPN's air time? Furthermore, if you really think any of this had appreciable effect on ESPN's bottom line, you're either a flaming retard or you are so caught up in the whininess of the "poor me" right that you've lost your ability to think at all. Do you really think the dipshits who would get pissy about half those clips you posted would ever be watching those shows to start with? Hell, naw! I wonder who does watch that shit and why ESPN ever thought it was a good idea to have sports discussion programming.

ESPN was not meeting the feeding schedule that Disney demanded, esp. after paying those exorbitant streaming rights fees, and so, like any good ol' corporation, it started firing people that, had it been properly run to begin with, should have never been hired in the first place. What's going on at ESPN is the same as everywhere today.

But oh wait, what's this I hear? The yapping of the poor little aggrieved people who saw the Negro with braids not standing for the national anthem and now they are sure that there are millions more just like them who banded together to bring down that great big ol' liberal media giant ESPN.

Sorry, Jethro. It didn't go down like that. Go back to your squirrel nuggets and plan for your next big outrage.

You're missing the larger question: What in the world is all this political discussion doing on a supposed sports station in the first place? I'm a conservative, but I would be almost as annoyed with ESPN if they were inserting conservative political commentary instead of liberal political commentary into their programming. I don't want to see Rush Limbaugh's or Ann Coulter's face on a sports show either. I've got Fox for that, if I'm in that kind of mood.

you have to wonder how many people would be supporting ESPN's right to make political statements if their slant was more Fox news and less MSNBC.

Who on here would be promoting their right to do so if ESPN as a whole was telling Kaepernick to know his place, Jenner needs to stay in the closet and take Sams with him.

I don't think you'd hear all these voices for support or the belief that political commentary plays no role in their decision to not watch it anymore.

What if ESPN was run by an SEC guy and they ran multiple stories/editorials claiming UNC's academic scandal should result in the death penalty?

in other news Netflix edited out Bill Nye saying that chromosones determine gender from his show broadcast in the 90's.

It would seem they have a problem with that at some level.

while your alive you can be anything you want

when your dead and someday digs you up you're either a male or female no ands ifs or buts

for medical and crime and identification purposes you still should be referred to the same as you would be if somebody digs you up and has to determine your sex

No you can't. If I want to be Bill Gates, I can pretend to be Bill Gates, I can have surgery that makes me look like Bill Gates, I can learn to dress and talk like Bill Gates, I might even convince foolish people to treat me as if I was Bill Gates. But none of that makes me Bill Gates.

Oh yeah, I'm sure if ESPN had come out with uniform, across the board condemnation of Kapernick, Black Lives Matter and whatever else it is that upsets you so badly, you'd be just as annoyed. Yeah, right. More likely you would've upgraded to platinum membership and been in here yapping about how great ESPN is. What a fucking mewling liar you are...

Well, in here you act like an idiot, you talk like an idiot and you've convinced me that you're you're an idiot. So I'm more than willing to treat you like one...

Knox and Bamba are close friends...... If Bamba chooses UK, Cal could wrap up another recruiting championship.

Kentucky scores a perfect 100 in APR scores.... Somewhere Booby Knight is throwing a chair.

From KSR.... The University of Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team scored a perfect 1000 Academic Progress Rate in the latest APR, released today, which will allow John Calipari to put a little more food on his family’s table.

Coach Cal’s only bonus in his current contract with UK is for APR scoring and the new 1000 earned him his $50,000 bonus for the team achieving a 950 or higher.
