not sure how long this has been avaiable but for you DTV guys, HBO On Demand now has the entire seasons of many shows including The Wire.
This wasn't always the case as they just had the last 5 or so episodes.

HBO GO has always been like that, iirc. I subscribe to HBO and Cinemax (they come together on TWC here), and I rarely watch them. However, I watch the fuck out of Cinemax Go (and, yes, they have the late night Cinemax stuff) and HBO Go.

Yeah but he needs a way to get HBO Go to the TV set as its an internet service. XBox Live gold maybe.

yea, Xbox live gives me HBO go, but DTV as my provider was a bitch about anything else that was connected to the desktop.
For example, if you had Dish Network, you could have HBO GO on a roku or a streaming DVD player, but not so with DTV.
I'm not sure why DTV caved on Xbox, but their arguments has always been that they were expanding HBO on demand to match HBO Go.
Now that seems to be more true than say 1 year ago.

Finally started watching "Bridesmaids." OK, it's funny. That big chick? Jesus, genius of physical comedy.

Worlds Worst Tenants on Spike is a trip.
On another note in the last two weeks I have seen the Timothy Green movie & the new Ice age one. I can't wait for my 12 year old to turn 14 so we can start going to R movies. It's holding her older sister back.

I know I'm late to the party but I managed to watch the entire first season of the The Wire in the last 2 days. Got to bed about 2am last night.
I'm not going to rave about how great it is but it obviously held my attention.
Maybe in another 5 years I'll find time for season 2.

eCat,
Season one isn't their strongest. It gets even better.
Although I'm still upset that they killed off their most enteresting character, Omar.
Season One sets the table. Season Two let's you know the show is not what you think it is. Season Three makes you wonder how a show can get anymore better. Season Four will kick you in the nuts and you will now realize you've been totally watching the show wrong and maybe should start watching it all over again.
Season Five is like having a woman with the relationship as strong as it's gonna be, so she doesn't bring her A game to the bedroom, but she still makes you a sandwich after and does the warm washcloth thing for you that totally relaxes you.

At least they strung it out longer than it would have been in real life. They were kind in that respect...especially considering they were not always that kind in other stories.

They end this show with McNulty on the River Patrol, and they made that movie with Bruce Willis doing it
and both of them implied it was the lowest of the low to work the River Patrol.
If I was a cop in Baltimore, I'd love to be out on a boat every day.

Ds - I will watch it tonight.
Anyone interested in a ESPN keeper league, my buddy has a couple openings and this keeper league is pretty strong as far as players staying active. If you are interested, let me know and I will get the information posted.
Thanks
