This is a football move. You add powerhouses in SMU, Houston, and UCF. Huge win.

Sass duly noted.
Well Dave, the Big East would still be at eleven for football even IF all the invitees accept. Unless Nova is going to make the jump to D1A, then there should still be a slot for Memphis. Though they still don't seem to be getting any mention. Army, ECU, and Temple's names have come up more.

looks like UNC is going to land TJ Warren. We take that to mean that Polythress is going to UK. (I hope)
NC State landed one of the top basketball recruits in the country today when Brewster Academy (NH) small forward T.J. Warren announced his decision to attend NC State.
“I’m going to N.C. State,” Warren told Scout.com's Evan Daniels in an exclusive interview.
“I feel like they are on the come up,” he said. “I just want to go in there and help bring the excitement back to Raleigh, N.C.”

Gottfired will be great the first couple of years. When he gets comfortable, he stops recruiting.

can he coach during a game? iow, does he pull a hot shooter for being a half step late trying to draw a charge while leaving a guy thats 0-12 on the chance that "he'll hit the next one"? does he rotate out his 7'1" center when the opponent "goes big"? does he go out of his way to bitch at a freshman who just made an incredible 70 yard touchdown because he acted excited on the way back to the sideline? (oh shit wrong sport, wrong coach)

The NCAA won't be far behind now that they're about done with Carolina football

who said they were about done with Carolina football? they havent seen the 216 records, addresses the parking tickets, or the hiring of an agent to teach a class during an ncaa investigation. if they want (which is questionable) they could spend another 6 months looking into Bitch's cesspool. not mentioning of course the swahili course that a third of your football team and 100% of your basketball team took. an honorable institution would have a years work straightening itself out. unc simply tries to figure out how to keep from getting caught next time.

nothing, unless it's a 400 level course being taken by a 1st semester frosh that hasnt even taken the remedial english he needs before he starts taking actual college courses, and is being administered by a prof that apparently doesnt check papers for plagiarism, and who's student body is 80% made up of student athletes 90+% of whom make A's in the class. is all this legit? maybe, but unless someone looks we'll never know, and UNC sure as hell aint looking.
