That's not what happened at all. That lion is the small boy's bitch. He just got through with him. The tiger is next.
And kidding aside, the lion vs brown bear thing has been done in the US, Canada and even ancient Rome. The bears almost always won (and this wasn't even the larger, meaner Kodiaks).
It was so bad for the big cats that they started to have to offer odds, but the bears still won so much that even offering 3:1 and 4:1 odds wouldn't lure people to wager on the big cats. So they started pitting 2, 3 and even 4 big cats vs the a bear - which became too expensive because the promoters would end up with 2, 3 or 4 dead tigers or lions.
I will concede this, however: If a big cat is pitted against a small, young (and possibly sickly) black bear, the cat would probably win. The largest Kodiak known was almost 1,900 lbs, but against a more average sized Kodiak of 1,000 to 1,400 pounds and the Kodiak still kills the big cat easily. The proposition that the big cat even has a slim chance is silly to the point of absurdity.

Just spent a weekend hiking in the smokies.
Linebergers seafood is now a Dick's Last Resort, they have a place that sells moonshine (no idea - didn't go there) and next to it a winery called hillbilly reserve, and Mellow Mushroom now has two locations.
I ended up eating at the Mardi Gras Sandwich shop which is also new and is awesome. The crawfish etoufee is perfect and the muffallata sandwiches with olive spread are huge. I didn't think you could get real New Orleans food north of I-10.
I loved the hiking but I got the fuck out of there before the 4th of July crowd hit.

heh, no these bathrooms were the bomb.
marble counters, individual stalls with full size wooden doors and private showers with bench seating.
like I said earlier, I specifically chose that park because of their bathrooms.
They even piped in muzak to drown out the farting.

Did they have full size mirrors on the inside of the stall doors?

I'm not sure I'd want to stare at myself while taking a dooder
then again, I guess I could lend myself support like "keep it up!" "good job!" "you're halfway there!"
