I'm leery of a kid whose claim to fame is dunking the ball, esp. when he plays for a team that plays mostly private-school white boy teams.
Everyone loves to talk about Williamson though because dunk highlights are the crack of the college hoops fandom.

That's a shame. For example. On the pic above you posted. I see "2017-18 MEMPHIS 1" written.
And that's it. So, its message is ....incomplete.

I would have told them as soon as Kansas can make it to a final four and not lose to a lower seed along the way, Roy will be happy to play to them

Speaking of lower seeds, seems like I heard that 1 seeds have only met for the title 7 times, which it seems like it would be more than that, but UNC has been in 4 of those games. I know that Georgetown, Michigan, Illinois and Gonzaga were 1 seeds (and Michigan State was a 2 seed), so we have had to beat one of the top teams in the field pretty much every year we've won a championship, unlike UK, who got to feast on the likes of Syracuse and Utah to win their titles (OK, I know that the only reason they got to play Utah is b/c Utah beat us in the FF, but still)...

Bam Adabeyo has dropped out of the first round in the draft boards, and he declared without an agent.
Some are thinking Cal might be able to convince Bamba to come to UK at the 5 and move Bam to the 4 as a PF , convincing him to come back to work on his 15 foot jumper similar to Patrick Patterson.
The risk is that I think we'd be better off with Bamba than Bam and he may go to whoever, Duke? I can't keep up if Bam returns. He didn't say so but his timeline is clearly after the NBA draft entrance list shakes out.

I take UNC aren't Maryland fans
--------------------
University of Maryland President Wallace Loh said during an on-campus meeting last week that he “would think” that the NCAA investigation into UNC-Chapel Hill would ultimately lead to the NCAA levying the so-called “death penalty” against the university.
Loh made the comments during a University of Maryland senate meeting last Thursday. An audio file of a portion of the meeting, which was open to the public, was sent on Monday to The News & Observer. Loh’s commentary about UNC came during a question-and-answer portion of the meeting.

An individual who identified himself as a member of the University of Maryland faculty asked Loh how he could be certain that the university is “protected from the corrupting influence of athletics.” In response, Loh made an unprompted reference to UNC.
“As president I sit over a number of dormant volcanoes,” Loh said. “One of them is an athletic scandal. It blows up, it blows up the university, its reputation, it blows up the president.
“For the things that happened in North Carolina, it’s abysmal. I would think that this would lead to the implementation of the death penalty by the NCAA. But I’m not in charge of that.”

UNC in basketball, like Alabama in football, is too big to fail.
