Some odd reactions in here this weekend. People cope with tragedy in different ways, I suspect.

Why is every news source on earth still saying ISIS was responsible for the Paris attacks, and not Al Qaida?

Or George Bush?

Let's keep things in perspective here, this is the junior varsity after all....no need to panic. To quote the experts....they are contained.

If the Paris attacks teach us anything, it is that we must follow Europe's lead. We need to allow into the US hundreds of thousands of un-screened refugees from Syria. Even though the Director of National Intelligence says that waves of immigrants from Syria will definitely include a large number of ISIS (or should I say Al Qaida?) infiltrators, we should let them come here anyway. The more, the better. And we need to move young, single males to the head of the line. Paris proves that they are harmless. Anything else would be Islamophobic, and we certainly can't have that.

Fascinating. I want this to go as mainstream as the Mizzou stuff that they borrowed the playbook from. Perhaps the world is now ready to be sucked into arguing over the merits of the bitter bickering and jealousy over stupidity with the goings on within student government at major universities. I will need lots of popcorn.

Truly. The lowest form of wit. Is it too late to add Planned Parenthood, Gay Marriage, Hill's emails, and legal pot to the list of scourges that (::winky::) plague us ever so more than black-clad turr-ist killers.

Their best shot is to get the KU basketball team involved. One would think a football walkout would be viewed as an act of mercy.

I hope this kind of lunacy doesn't happen aTm. They don't allow nose rings or purple hair or man buns in the Corps.

Sanders stood by his earlier claim that climate change, not creatures in suicide vests, presents the biggest threat to this planet because it makes poor people into terrorists by interfering with their crops or something.

I stand corrected. The Daily Mail had a picture of Abdelhamid Abaaoud wavng the Al Qaeda flag, but apparently a lot of ISIS fighters do that.

On another note, what's your problem with The Root? Too mainstream, or are you afraid that since Univision bought them, they may change their name to La Raiz?
