So we couldn't even keep the < 10 point moral victory. Christ, take the freaking knee and get out of the stadium.
And ABC guys, it's not the missing receiver, it's not the missing tailback. It's the crappy OLine stupid! and we're stuck with it all year.

Unless some of them get suspended from the team too, which is a very good possibility. #thuglife...

Just leaving Dallas now and ghost is correct. O line needs a lot of work.

There was a game that was heading for overtime which Tenny likely would have won.
and there was The Play. Two separate events. Enjoyed the latter, the former was much of the same

The game underscored the two rules I hate the most in football -

An unrecovered fumble should come back to the point of the fumble, not given to the team that didn't recover it.
If the defense scores a safety, it gets the ball back, but if a defense scores a TD, the other team gets the ball back. The defense in effect gets penalized by having to keep playing without a breather.

neither will ever change - on to 'tucky.

imagine the catastrophic damage Purty would have done to his teams with all the peyton-6's he threw if the other team then got the ball back on offense too....

Happy Feet threw 6 pics against UF in his tenure, but only one pic6 - an 89 yds beauty run back by Tony George in 97.

For you and your strange hobby (obsession? fetish? mania?), dave. It's got it all: Peyton's gigantic forehead plus he concedes Brady has more SB rings. Not long enough to rub one out, though..sry.

26 seconds? That's plenty of time for him to rub one out...

Tennessee fans always blame the ref's. Ghost is taking it to a whole new level and blaming the rule makers. That's cutting edge stuff right there.

"but if a defense scores a TD, the other team gets the ball back."

Yes, but their team also gets 6 points instead of 2. I guess the thinking behind the safety rule is that you'd often expect the defense to force a punt from near or even within the end zone when they have them back that far already, but if they can tackle somebody in the end zone, they get a bonus of 2 points while the other team gets the benefit of punting the ball from the 20 yard line instead of from the back of the end zone...

Not 'blaming' any thing Prof. I've posted my disdain for those rules a number of times over the years in these message board incarnations regardless of who was affected.

The safety reasoning is sound. I just think a simiar kick should apply after the defense scores a TD. I'd leave a punt return score as is.
