Those jeers are the currency of fear that is the lifeblood of high school hoops. At least in this area. I'm sure it continues up the line in college and pro, too.

kid named Erick Neal from UT-Arlington put on a show last night in the N.I.T.

must have been the game of his life because I haven't heard of this guy but he looked like Rajon Rondo running the Celtics

I've been hard on every South Carolina product/thought for 3 decades. I will put my down-talking (is that even a word?) on them on hold for at least a week because of that Duke win. Good job.

(on the IU job, why would Alford leave UCLA when he has a line of Ball's coming over the next 4 years? I know the Dad is annoying, but as long as they keep their amateur status UCLA has an amazing recruiting tool until 2019-2020 season)

Alford has wanted the IU job since he got into coaching

plus, I would guess that Ball kid saved his ass from being shitcanned at UCLA - he was not well liked last year.

He is 53 years old - he could go to IU - get 3 years to rebuild, take them to the NCAA tourney in year 4, and put in a pedestrian Tom Crean level coaching existence and ride that job out until he's 62.

Why would anyone leave LA for freakin' Indiana. I'm not talking about the job, I'm talking about life. Swimming pools, movie stars vs. corn fields and chaw?

Robert Williams rumored to be leaning towards returning to A&M for sophomore season. The amount of underachievement potential next year could be off the charts.

Seems normal for me. If you hit "post reply" and then accidentally hit "quote" on one of the posts listed at the bottom it will add in that quote, maybe you did that?

He's basically Blake Griffin returning to Oklahoma, IMO. Hope it works out similarly in terms of second year bump.

Freshman year stats per 40 minutes and FG%s
Griffin
PTS: 20.7
REB: 12.8
BLK: 1.2
AST: 2.6
STL: 1.4
TOV: 3.2
FG%: .568
3P%: .000
FT%: .589

Williams
PTS: 18.3
REB: 12.6
BLK: 3.8
AST: 3.3
STL: 1.0
TOV: 4.0
FG%: .556
3P%: .111
FT%: .590

A&M is probably going to be playing above the rim next year a lot. Everybody should be back...plus

Has anyone here posted more meaningless college hoops drivel than aTm? He specializes in minutiae, altho' I suppose it comes with the territory of being an Aggie.
