Well, that sucked.

Couldn't put them away and gave up way too many long yardage conversions. Deserved to lose...turnovers, bad snap on FG, adds up to a bad loss.

Dammit Gustav.

Yeah, I was at that game. It did indeed suck. Lots of mistakes and missed opportunities. The refs’ dubious pass interference calls and no-calls toward the end sealed it.

I have felt the sting of losses like that to LSU as well. Aubie still has a good season ahead.

I'm thinking 8-4 top end at this point. Our November is going to be "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"-like.

We never beat A&M in Auburn
@ Georgia
@ Alabama

Auburn's (Tuberville's, really) ownership of Bryant-Denny expired when Saban arrived, and we haven't won in Athens since 2005.

The rest of the schedule will determine if we maybe make it to Nashville, or if we're stuck in shithole Birmingham for a bowl game.

I'd like to neck shove you into a shithole with my foot.

One good thing about this loss... Prof didn’t make a feeble attempt at sandbagging.

Hiya Folks!!

But please, all should leave bitching about the refs to professionals... I think the WWAVC theorists have trademark rights on that.

I did see Tommy Tuberville at the Tigerwalk, and took his picture. That was pretty cool.

You think Tommy would come back as the AD ala Phil? I don’t know if he’d put up with the BOT though... JJ has been a thorn in AU’s side for way too long. I expect the first thing he’d do is see if there’s enough money in the coffers to fire the idiot roaming your sideline right now... he cost AU this game going for it on 4th n short at the 7 early in the game... NEVER leave points on the field in a game like this. At least try the FG.

AU’s kicker is pretty good. As much salary cap room as we have you’d think we would buy a damn kicker......::

With their current offense, Bama doesn't even need a kicker on their roster. Replace the kicker, deep snapper and holder with an extra LB and 2 DL's.

Kelly Bryant, please transfer to Auburn. We are completely incapable of recruiting an elite QB out of high school, but we've done pretty well with transfers (Newton and Marshall).

Are you offering the same pay rate you offered Newton?

We're already near the salary cap.

Bama has plenty of room under the salary cap... you’ THINK we’d hire a kicker.

Well, the offensive line is still offensive.

Gonna be a long November.

This year is the 10th anniversary of the scintillating 3-2 victory over MSU in Starkville. I see something similar in the offing this week.

Auburn 6, MSU 5

Heh I remember that 3-2 game. I think that was the beginning of the end of the Tuberville era at Auburn. It was also the end of he beginning of the Mike Price era at Bama.
