Decent start to the weekend:

Alma Mater wins (Rice),
My childhood teams win (Cougar High and Texas Southern)
current city wins (LSU, Southern doesn't count because they loss to Texas Southern)

Now if only the Texans and Saints win and I win at least one of my money leagues.

I know Rat hated it, but I loved the LSU/Tide game. I expected it to be a defensive battle where the difference would be due to mistakes. It kept me dialed in for the whole game.

I hated it.

I thought beforehand that LSU was the better team - but that Bama might hang around and steal one w/ it being at home and all.

As it turned out Bama seemed the better team- but let LSU hang around and steal it.
