Not the same situation you ass clown.
http://www.nytimes.com/1993/04/21/sport ... -last.html
When Montana was conducting a search for a new team over the last month, there was a heavy backlash from fans in the Bay area, and the 49ers -- in an apparent public-relations ploy -- suddenly started an all-out campaign to bring Montana back.
On Sunday, they named him their "designated" starter ahead of the league's most valuable player, Steve Young. But Montana, believing the 49ers were insincere, turned them down. He had asked to be traded to Kansas City, who had already agreed with Montana on a three-year, $10 million contract -- worth $4 million in 1993 and $4 million in 1994.
Stay down Dave. Stay down.

Of course he wanted to remain a Colt because he knew he wasn't going to. Thats why Colts fans are also Bronco fans right now. Had he said "Fuck You Indy you ungrateful assholes" He probably would'nt still be so love there still.

DS was a big Skins fan...till about '92, then a big Cowgirls fan...till about '99 or so.....then a 'lifelong Skins fan' since then.

Because he is a classy guy. Irsay had all ready told him that they were going to rebuild so it was a mutual decision.
As far as the Babe and Boston, just please stop Dave. It is shameful. You have some decent posts every now and then. Truly. Just be okay with the fact that most Colts fans will remember what Manning did for this franchise and city, and we are grateful and will root for him to win this Super Bowl. However, when it comes down to Colts v Broncos, I will back the Colts.
I know this is a foreign concept for you since the likes of Rex Grossman, John Beck, McNabb, Jason Campbell, Mark Brunell, Patrick Ramsey, Tim Hasselback, Shane Matthews, Danny Wureffel, Tony Banks, and Jeff Geroge have never really given you any stability and such over 10+ years. Maybe with RG3 you can experience that feeling. Well if his knees hold up and your owner doesn't screw it up.

Yes Dave I am sure it was a wonderful evening celebrating the last Deadskins SB win with your buddies on your AOL friend list so long as mom didn't pick up the phone to try to make a call. That 14.4 connection can be a bitch to get back on.
And remember, it is 3* > 1.
Oh, and I'll take the success of our team over the past 15 years and our foundation for the future also.
So yeah, pop in that VHS of Redskins v Bills and relive them glory days.
