I think the guy NC State hired could be a really good coach. He was Pitino's top recruiter at Louisville and won almost as many games in 3 seasons at UNCW than the Seahawks had won in the 10 seasons before he arrived.

Also, when a kid our local D-II team left 2 years ago and the rumor was he had transferred to UNCW, my reporter couldn't get anyone at the D-II team to call him back. So he left a voicemail for Keatts at UNCW and he actually called him back. I don't know many D-I coaches who would do that.

"I'd like to see Donovan to IU

of course that would pretty much kill any chance of him taking Cal's place when Cal leaves in 3 years"

I wonder if Donovan regrets not taking the UK job when he had the chance. I also wonder if UK would've had as much success under Donovan as they have under Cal...

Cincy is a fun basketball town come March Madness. UC, X and now NKU in their first year of eligibility giving UK a game as a 15. Sucks that UC keeps getting sent out West every year. A 9:40 pm game on a Sunday? C'mon man. 3 straight years out west. They gotta get out of their conference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Donovan hasn't already been promised the UL job, but IU seems to think he's gonna end up there.

That's just a travesty. He turns down the UK job, a program to which he has ties and which is a better job than either of those, and now he might be going to one of them anyway. At least Pitino left UK for the freakin' Celtics. I wish Donovan had taken the UK job back when he had a chance. He's a good coach, but I don't think he would've had nearly the success that Cal has had...

I think UK will back a brinks truck up to his driveway when Cal leaves, even if he's at Indiana

I'm sure if Stu could figure out a way to make some money off his kid, he'd be milking it for all it's worth. For that matter, Mozart's dad did the same thing. Might as well get something out of those brats...

Alford = IU safety pick

Billy D = IU wishing pick

Best guess = current Butler coach

My only concern with that tree of coaching at Butler - you either get a Todd Licklieter or Brad Stevens. Nothing in between.

Archie Miller just got sent home from the tourney. If Donovan isn't an option - and who can wait until end of April for him to decide then I'd get Miller

I'm glad to be off to boo the Tar Holes in person and then watch the Devils play a road game. Go Hogs! Go to Hell, Carolina!

The Big-Ten is absolutely murdering ALL our brackets. First is was Wisconsin. Now, Michigan. Who's next? Maybe Michigan State for strike three?

Man, Wichita St. has thrown up 3 air balls. UK has missed a few as well, but not that badly. This is like a street ball game so far...

With all these early upsets, you may be right, but nothing would surprise me.

Kentucky is in a real knife fight this afternoon, of course everyone is missing the bucket.

Hardly any fouls, though. It's like the NBA all star game, just back and forth and jack up a quick shot, except neither team is making many...
