Having Frank Jackson at PG has made a huge difference and they are finding their roles. Plus they're quick as shit. UNC was beating them over the head for 2/3 of that game and all of a sudden Duke went from 13 down to 7 up in less than 5 minutes. Carolina didn't even know what hit it.

Either that or they will get knocked out in the first round by some random 14 seed. Nothing in between.

what I saw last night was not a team that is going to lose in the early rounds.

They've got their shit together now. They don't even need Jones and he was the leader early in the season.

I kinda like that Saiz kid for Ole Miss.

I'm starting to appreciate these unsung kids that are funamentally sound players but are just overshadowed by the one and dones.

I mean as long as they don't beat Kentucky

Berry determines where this team finishes. If he is in the game, they're an elite team, but when he is out, they're the equivalent of an 8/9 seed.

Roy needed to put Berry in earlier, but that's Roy for you. He isn't going to be remembered as a great in game coach. In fact, I think he has regressed in some ways. His talent is developing a team that excels in his system. K coached circles around him. Roy won't work the refs, and K will. Dook was hot, and we didn't adjust how we dealt with screens (recurring issue).

This team also has serious issues with regards to toughness. They were punched in the mouth and had no response. They let Dook dictate the game and didn't fight to keep pushing the ball inside. They settled for too many forced jumpers or, in the case of Jackson, off balance baseline shots from outside of the lane, and they missed some damn easy shots.

well it sucked to lose but its a good time to be a Bama fan. You got a kid coming in that scored 51 points on his Senior night. I'm glad you guys are in the West and we only play once

If Avery doesn't get us in next year, he'll be gone.

I hope you're right. I've met Avery at two functions. Seems genuinely nice and I think he *wants* to do well. We will see, though.

Duke doesnt' deserve a #1 seed but I will say they are the best team in college basketball right now...which based on talent they should be.
