I got pulled over years ago for my Garmin. He thought it was a radar detector. I said, "It's not a radar detector, but aren't they legal, anyway."
He just smiled, handed me my license back and said, "Have a good day."
Many cops are assholes.

The most expensive driver class insurance-wise has always been males 16-25. Now that is no longer the case...females 16-25 have pulled even due to the fact that they text and drive more than anybody. The numbers are staggering.

I've almost had a couple of head-ons because of texting and one would not have been prevented had I not been riding a motorcycle. He was almost entirely in my lane ao a country road.

Anytime you hear of a single car accident around here involving a woman, you just know they were texting.

This karma stuff is hard to get around.....from 1974. Jerry Zeifman, democrat, the PAH's then boss:
When asked why Hillary Rodham was fired, Zeifman said in an interview,
“Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer, she conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee, and the rules of Confidentiality.”
....you'd think Dan Rather would be all over this....

LOL The reason no one is "is all over it" is because none of it is true. Hillary was on a separate committee from Zeifman, Hillary was never fired, Hillary and her committee mates were successful in bringing impeachment proceedings against Nixon, and Zeifman tried to cash in through the years on blatant lies to the contrary. This nonsense pops up every few years thanks to the usual rwnj outlets and gets smacked down every time. Funny how the usual suspects lap it up every time.
snopes.com: FALSE: Jerry Zeifman Fired Hillary Clinton from the Watergate Investigation

...none of it is true.....
You'd make a perfect running mate for PAH, parse, parse, parse....
It’s true that Hillary Clinton’s ex-boss has accused her of being a “liar” and “unethical” during the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry into Watergate, but claims that she was fired for those reasons are false.
Jerry Zeifman said he supervised Hillary Rodham Clinton as she worked on the team that worked on the Watergate impeachment inquiry, and that during the investigation Hillary Clinton had “…engaged in a variety of self-serving, unethical practices in violation of House rules.”
Specifically, Jerry Zeifman said Hillary Rodham Clinton and others wanted Richard Nixon to remain in office so Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy would have a better chance of being elected president. Zeifman said a young lawyer who shared an office with Clinton came to him in August of 1974 to apologize that he and Clinton had lied to him. The lawyer, John Labovitz, is quoted as saying that he was dismayed with “…her erroneous legal opinions and efforts to deny Nixon representation by counsel — as well as an unwillingness to investigate Nixon.”
But while Jerry Zeifman has been consistent in his criticism of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s work on the Watergate investigation, circumstances surrounding her termination are less clear. In a 1999 interview with the Scripps Howard News Service, Zeifman said he didn’t have the power to fire Clinton, or else he would have:
“Zeifman does not have flattering memories of Rodham’s work on the committee. ‘If I had the power to fire her, I would have fired her,’ he said.
Sooooo, everyone agrees Hillary being a grade A liar from her earliest job to present, the meat of the story, but it appears Zeifman did not fire her. And in the parsing world of snopes/tick, this makes everything kosher.

Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady -- a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation -- is a congenital liar.
Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.

Nobody gets to that level of politics (or even well below that level) without being a liar...

Fox: Hillary Fired for Lies, Unethical Behavior from Congressional Job: Says Former Boss, 2/25/2014

Dan Calabrese's new column on Hillary Clinton's past may bring the curtain down on her political future. Calabrese interviewed Jerry Zeifman, the man who served as chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate hearings, has tried to tell the story of his former staffer's behavior during those proceedings for years. Zeifman claims he fired Hillary for unethical behavior and that she conspired to deny Richard Nixon counsel during the hearings.
Former staffer of his - LIE Her boss - LIE Conspired to deny Richard Nixon counsel - LIE Hillary fired - LIE Claims to have personally fired her - SELF-AGRANDIZING BOLD FACED LIE
Neil Boortz and Rush Limbaugh also briefly gave this guy his extra 15 minutes. What a surprise.

On Tuesday, my Post colleagues Dan Balz and Peyton Craighill discussed the results of a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, which found that Hillary Clinton’s favorability ratings were lower than in any Post poll since 2008. The University of Wisconsin’s Charles Franklin put together this helpful graph, which shows that other polls are registering this same trend.
