We can all agree that Kansas has home cooking down to a science.

I was thinking UNC was going to be national champion until that mess last night.I'm relieved.

UNC has shit the bed several times this season. I'm hoping the spacing is such that they can win 10 more games before it happens again.

Eh. I want to win 2-3 in a row and then 6 in a row. They haven't won the ACCT & the NCAAT in the same year since 1982.

somebody is taking notice of Kansas

http://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/comme ... ll-players

I can't make sense of this ....

--------------

The most recent development, reported Friday night by the Kansas City Star, deserves attention beyond the state lines in hopes more pressure will provide some answers. In what's been a season of sketchy behavior, here's the latest:

A KU sophomore basketball standout has had her game minutes cut nearly in half since she called Lawrence police in December to complain that her car was vandalized by a star on the men's team. Freshman Josh Jackson -- a top Jayhawks scorer and likely lottery pick -- was charged Friday with misdemeanor property damage to McKenzie Calvert's vehicle.

Self, who must be the most Teflon-coated of college coaches, maintains that Jackson was disciplined, but he won't provide details. We do know this: Self says Jackson won't miss any future games -- nor has he missed any so far this season.

In contrast, Calvert, the leading scorer for the women's team in five of its first eight games, is becoming something of a stranger to the basketball court. Most troubling, no one at KU -- not coaches, athletic department or administration -- will say why she's seeing less playing time.

Let me help: He's a star player. She's a player on the chickball team. They told her to shut up about his tantrum and she didn't so she can sit the fuck down and he's going to keep playing.

we have wins over Baylor west Virginia and Oklahoma state --2 top 10 teams

we lost 3 games 2 to Kansas and 1 to Maryland by a combined total of 6 points--2 of 3 on the road

our worse loss of the year was on the road at Oklahoma

and lunardi still has us out

ESPN will lay off some of the personalities who appear on TV, radio and online. The cuts will only affect "talent" -- not rank-and-file employees, according to sources familiar with the matter. The details are still being finalized, but layoffs are expected to take place through June. No announcement has been made about which personalities will be affected, but it seems those with contracts up for renewal may be cut first. ESPN may also buy out some contracts that aren't ending soon, according to sources. "We have long been about serving fans and innovating to create the best content for them," ESPN said in a statement.

That's what they get for charging so much to be on cable. Berman's leaving after this year anyway, isn't he? They probably pay him a shitload since he was an original.

I can't believe no talk about Allen's elbow to the face.

I'm worried about Duke.

They played UNC closer than it should have been. They may be like the UK team that was in Wichita St's bracket.

They'll be put in Gonzaga's bracket with Oregon and Arizona and beat them all.
