Kentucky Basketball... Heh. I'm going to have to adjust my bench coach rating for Clipari from a C- to a solid D-. He simply is clueless. But he can stomp and yell 'RUN' with the best of 'em. Dave tried to tell us.

The camera showing Monk on the bench laughing is going to get the fans pissed.

UK is done - our Dwight Howard lookalike center unfortunately has the same effect on UK that Dwight Howard has had on his NBA teams.

This is on Cal

Our game plan is 100% Bam - get the ball into Bam, protect Bam on defense.

he is shooting 62% from the free throw line and Willis/Gabriel hang out under the basket to absorb fouls for him

That in turn means the other team fouls him and its like a turnover because its a "where were you when Bam hit both his free throws" kinda moment if it ever happens and then on defense, the wings just light us up because we have 3 guys rotating around the paint.

If Cal can't figure out that he's killed team chemistry trying to make Bam into Dwight Howard, then he deserves some criticism at this point.

Cal has got to do that, how else will UK keep getting all those one and done's if he doesn't showcase them? And after all, that's what UK fans want, top recruiting classes every year...

the problem is if that talent can't win, their stock drops like a rock.

There wasn't anything that made be believe we'd win the game tonight, but I was hoping that we'd see a different game plan.

Duke has the floor slap to motivate players, UK has the "hold your arms up by your side and say what did I do?" move - they do it every other trip down the floor.

YOU FUCKING FOULED! Stop acting like a dumbass and get down the court.

Didn't take long for the Monk laughing on the bench story to make it KSR

That will feed the trolls big time on talk radio this week.

UK is still a contender so the fans can't be too upsait.

Redick has had a decent pro career. ONe of the Plumlees is doing OK. Can't think of many other dookie whities that have done well in the NBA though.

If you consider that there is no true favorite right now but instead 10-12 teams that could find a way to 6 wins in March, I would certainly include UK in that group.

Florida State and WVU are my sleeper picks to cut the nets. Kentucky will be toast in the second round.

you're not seeing what it happening. UK is getting worse each game out - and that isn't hyperbole. We're not a top 20 team and I honestly don't think UK is in that 10-12 group.

Cal has done ruint this team and he's actiing like some of these kids need to runoft.

Doesn't matter. It's the first week of Feb. Still plenty of time to get it together considering how mediocre everyone else is.

Sandbaggery. UK limped into the tourny as an 8 seed that year they knocked of Witchita State and every other top seed in the tourny until they inexplicably fell to a weak UConn team in the finals. Not saying they're the favorite this year or anything close to it, but they've still got the personnel to make a FF run and once you're there it's anybody's title to win...

that's their master plan - play a #1 seed in the second round. Gonzaga you're going DOWN!
