this is crazy. There are 10 teams that would beat Kentucky easily.
Kentucky may be the eighth best team in the eyes of the AP votes, but according to Vegas, they’re now the favorite to win the NCAA Championship. Bovada updated their odds this week and Kentucky is the favorite to bring home the title at 5-1:
Kentucky: 5-1
Kansas: 7-1
Gonzaga: 8-1
UCLA: 9-1
North Carolina 9-1
Villanova: 10-1
Arizona: 10-1
Duke: 10-1
West Virginia: 16-1
Florida State: 20-1
Louisville: 20-1
Baylor: 22-1
Virginia: 25-1
Oregon: 25-1
Wisconsin: 25-1
Notre Dame: 50-1
Creighton: 50-1
Purdue: 50-1
Butler: 50-1
Florida: 50-1
Maryland: 50-1
Michigan State: 66-1
Indiana: 75-1

odds aren't who vegas thinks will win
odds are set by how much money the public spends on a certain team to win
just proves there's more Kentucky homers then anybody else

Here's the $40 million reason UK refuses to leave the SEC......
This afternoon, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced the league divided up $584.2 million of revenue to its 14 institutions, an average of slightly over $40.4 million per school. That’s an insane amount of money, and doesn’t even include bowl revenue.
The $584.2 million of revenue distributed is for the 2015-16 fiscal year and is the highest in SEC history. Last year, the league distributed $475.8 million for the 2014-15 fiscal year, an average of $32.7 million per school. The total distribution amount is comprised of revenue generated from television agreements, post-season bowl games, the College Football Playoff, the SEC Football Championship, the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, NCAA Championships and a supplemental surplus distribution. For comparison’s sake, the Big 10 distributes around $32.4 million to its members, while ACC schools annually receive anywhere from $24 million to $27.6 million.
Overall, the SEC made a record $639 million in 2016.

it also explains why the UK administration isn't too concerned about UK being a doormat in football.

normally I wouldn't think $3K vandalism on a car is bad enough to sit a kid for awhile - its bad, but its not violence, its not harming a woman, its not drugs - its just stupid kid judgement.
but damn, Kansas is out of control under Self.

In fairness, you could dent the plastic bumper on a newer car and they'd call $3K in damage...

I'm starting to really take a liking to this Allen kid. Besides his first two trips early in the season most others I didn't have a problem with. Kids not afraid.

May as well not be afraid, his whole basketball career will be centered in Durham. He better leave it all out there now.

Exactly. How many white boys out of Durham actually made a living in the NBA? Laettner? That's who Allen reminds me of.
