It's not hard for Coach K to say, "Grayson Allen is suspended for three games." Associate head coach Jeff Capel handled questions about Tiny Gallon taking $3,000 from a financial adviser during his time at Oklahoma. He could deal with anyone asking about Allen's suspension. There are benefits, however, to playing for Krzyzewski. People trust his judgment. He has an aura. If Quentin Snider had tripped three people and earned a one-game suspension on the third trip, however, the haters would pounce on him and Rick Pitino. If Malik Monk had done this and Kentucky had responded this way? John Calipari would never hear the end of it. We've all been punk'd here. Still, if the ACC refused to make a decision and take the matter out of Duke's hands, why would anyone trust the Blue Devils to offer anything beyond one of the shortest indefinite suspensions in college basketball history? This is the best outcome for the program. The Blue Devils don't care what the rest of us think about it. That's fine.

just one game
I'll say this - Allen has zero tolerance and he's shown he's incapable of holding his emotions. Every team that plays him from now on is going to fuck with this kid and if he loses his shit again
K /Capel, whoever will have no choice but to lock him down for the season. 1 game is a short sighted move.

It's definitely arrogant.

I am glad we all agree that Dukedom is a cesspool of elitist, self-serving assholes.

K is as full of shit as ever, as evidenced by his feeble attempt to lie about talking to that Oregon player after the NCAA loss last year. He's a great coach and not the complete asshole so many rival fans want him to be but he's got character flaws that nobody ever seems to hold him to anymore. Plus, his wife is way worse and nobody can control her. She's a stark raving lunatic at Duke home games when calls go against them.

Well, the video clearly indicts grayson allen for attempting to trip the guy vs BC today. When will someone will *man balls* just kick the bastard out of college ball? I mean, this looks like the clintons.

I don't see anything wrong. They got their legs tangled. He was just getting his free.

That looked more like an attempt to kick the other guy in the nuts...

Definitely stuck his leg out on purpose. Maybe a first half suspension for next game by Dook??

Exactly he does nto he tried to kick the BC kid
coach K is a fraud all about him self and not a a leader of your men
that fact he put him back in the ELOn game proves the guy is a dirt bag

Pinson back and Unc looked good again, I am not sure how long until he is back in the starting lineup but UNC is 10 deep and that is not counting Robinso or White who both have had positive movement this year.
But Pinson in starting lineup makes UNC bigger better defensively and better rebounding team

I wish we had had Pinson when we played UK. I'm not saying he would've shut Monk down, but I doubt he would've put up 47 on us...

Because the whiteness of Pinson's knee-high sox would have blinded him?

Duke's vaunted rookie class looks pretty pedestrian, esp. Bolden. Giles may get going soon but so far, Tatum is the only one worth a shit. Also, does anyone want to bet that Chase Jeter transfers after this season?
