They need to shelve that Grayson Allen kid. He's a lunatic.

We had a kid on our high school team like that. By his junior year, the coach had enough and gave him the boot. Two years later he was in prison for manslaughter.

LOL, Monk is 0-6 from behind the arc against Louisville with under 3 minutes to go, and UK is 4-19 overall. Wish he had played like that last Saturday...

LOL (again), I've been watching the last few minutes of this UK game and already heard Bilas say "that's not a foul" twice on two separate fouls called on Louisville...

Yeah, Gayson needs to move on from college hoops. There's no place for assholes like him in the NCAA. Even Duke.

Mark, Corky is doing great. He still runs 3 miles every morn and shoots hoops whenever he can. I will let him know you asked about him, Manheimer.

Allen is unstable. He was losing it on the bench when he came out. It's become a safety issue when he's on the floor. If he was doing that in pick-up ball, someone would bounce the ball off his face.

"Allen is unstable. He was losing it on the bench when he came out"

Kinda reminded me of Joel Barnes circa 5th grade...

Also, it bears repeating (or rather, updating): Malik Monk went 1-9 from behind the arc last night, so he is human after all. I guess there's some comfort in knowing it took an historic performance by a UK player to beat us by 3, but not much...

Love that ESPN column "... coach K is no charlatan or huckster" ... the *hell* he isn't.

And Gayson replies (crocodile tears=ON) "...I don't PLAN on doing it again."

A one-game suspension, as has been suggested by the Duke Network's coach K-worshipping talking heads, is a ludicrous and feeble idea. This punk Allen needs to play in europe, ala Danny Ferry. Now.

A suspension is warranted, but no more than a game, or two, in my opinion.

Either way, he's irreparably damaged by this (in the basketball sense). He will struggle more with refs (as much as a Duke player does struggle) and he will have no credibility with other players outside of the Duke family.

Apparently, his Ted Cruz face is also an indicator of his character.

Hell, I don't think he needs a suspension. Maybe counseling.

Looks like the NCAA wasn't happy with UNC smarting off about NOA No. 2. Well, eCat will be happy. We're in this shit for at least another year now.

Many at-risk student-athletes, particularly in the sports of football and men’s basketball, used these courses for purposes of ensuring their continuing NCAA academic eligibility,” the notice said. The NCAA said the improper conduct occurred from fall 2002 to the end of summer 2011, a time frame that includes two UNC men’s basketball championships. The 2005 championship involved athletes who had taken many of the fake classes.

this year may turn out to be the best Christmas yet...and thats with me getting nothing but a bag of socks and some sad ass licorice in my stocking last night at the family get together.

Socks and licorice for the paterfamilias. That's some horseshit right there.
