Yeah he is. Big music guy. Quite some time ago, gonna guess mid-90's, the Colts had a game against Seattle. Don't remember who won but not important. So during the Colts post game show held on the radio, they had some stuff to give away. Little shit like a couple of hats and shit like that, nothing special for the first few guests. So Irsay calls the station and gets on the air. He basically says that him and Eddie Vedder were sitting in his office listening to the post game stuff, drinking some brandy, smoking some "cigars", and thought their prizes sucked so he agreed to throw in a couple of game worn jerseys, a couple of signed footballs, and maybe some tickets to the next game. The host was like dumb founded and couldn't believe it.

He is passionate about the team but not stupid like others. I will take his twitter rants and past 15 years of successful football any day of the week. I am sure Lions, Bengals, Browns, Jags, Raiders, Jets, and Cowboys fans would love to have the same success.

Being a UT alum and lifelong colts fan, this whole season has worked out great NFL-wise.

My personal perfecta will have the colts win Saturday (pats lose!) and the broncos win out. Peyton gets his 5th league mvp and maybe a 2nd SB mvp.

Brady is 10-4 against Peyton.

how does next week "settle this once and for all"?

(especially considering Peyton is playing at home, with all his offensive weapons.)

you're going to hold the fact that he earned home field advantage against him?

Yeah that must be it. I can see how you look to other teams for QBs to look up to admire since the Deadskins haven't had one since before the internet was popular.

Obviously Manning and Brady don't square off against each other; they operate against the defenses of their respective opponent. NE's defenses have always been higher rated than Manning's team's D, and that's just a fact. This year, thanks mostly due to injuries, the pats D is not as formidable as years past and is frankly on par with a fairly porous bronco D.

So to my mind it's even-steven. Even though Brady is playing in the same system, with the same HoF coach, as always. Whereas Manning is with his 2nd team and 4th head coach.

I can take it, whatever happens. If Brady leads his team to victory, then I'll concede he is the best and will change the thread title to reflect same.
