So it took an 80 point lead for you to think it was time for Cal to take his foot off the gas? You're the soul of compassion, Crotch...

I can't really defend that either

I think that Cal doesn't like all the love that Duke is getting for their all time great class of one and dones that are good for college basketball

It went from a 50 pt lead to an 80 pt lead in a matter of minutes... at my age, it took time for all that to register.

Avery lands John Petty - #5 Shooting guard in the 2017 class.

Looks like Bama is back on the map in college basketball

Yeah, this was a great class. Avery is very likable. Next year should be decent. Of course, some Kentucky UK fans on Twitter are saying he must be cheating to get a class this good.

fwiw, I know he is a headcase but I still love DeMarcus Cousins.

Cal was ready for him to go pro after his first year but the guy was/is a fan favorite at UK.

John Wall never really had the personality for UK - he was well liked but he was biding his time like so many others. Marcus pretty much had to be shoved out the door.

Kentucky plays Stephen F. Austin tonight, the team that beat #3 West Virginia in the NCAA tourney last year and has won a steady mix of their conference titles.

could be an early season upset as the Cats try to establish their identity as a team.

UK is favored by 20

Good win by the Hoosiers. Towards the end of regulation and OT, the refs were a little whistle happy with Mason. At one point it felt like NBA, as soon as you saw the drive or even the shot, the whistle was coming.

With that being said, NC, UK, Louisville, Indiana, and Duke all relevant at the same time. Should be a fun year.

another drunk/rape situation

A University of Alabama student accused of raping a teenage girl in a dorm room has been arrested.

Joseph Tyler Pitts, 19, was charged with first-degree rape on Sunday.

The 18-year-old female victim, who is also a student at the university, told police she had been drinking with Pitts on Saturday night when she lost consciousness.

The victim was awakened by two friends after they came into a room and allegedly saw Pitts having sex with the unconscious girl.

She told investigators about the incident at DCH Regional Medical Center early Saturday.
