Oh yeah. That show cracks me up. I could buy a bong and watch A&E all day if I didn't have those meddling kids.

Watch him blow cigar smoke in the bartender's face at the 1 minute mark. Bartender is Frank Stallone, BTW...

stuck in the hotel a few hours babysitting this weekend I had a chance to watch that toothless Turtleman character on TV.

You can't help but like the guy, as goofy as he is. I knew about 100 guys just like him growing up. A good day for them is just having something fun to do. I guess that is what it boils down to for all of us. Guys like him have just cut out all the bullshit the stumbles people up.

I also watched some show about the Border patrol. Talk about awkward when our Mexican maid showed up to clean the room. I whispered to my wife - "would it be rude to ask her to translate what the Mexicans are yelling when they get caught?"

It's not very good, but not as bad as I thought it would be. JR has been emasculated by age and loss of power, as almost anyone would be save Jock. Hagman is no Jim Davis. There was nobody better in their prime than Hagman as JR, but Davis had the gravitas to create an older character who still had power and commanded respect. For god's sake, JR just got out of an old folks home. Some of the chicks are kinda hot, though...

Count me in. It's worth $7 even if the trailer is the best part.

Yeah, I heard it's actually pretty good if you can get past the Peter Griffin voice.

If you can get past Al Bundy on Modern Family you can do this.

a bunch from work saw it and loved it but said it was a family guy episode. It even had flashbacks.

Watching this American Ninja Warrior show...

I've never felt more like a sad, weak, lazy bitch and I'm in pretty damn good shape (I thought).

I'm watching Bigfoot on Syfy right now. They just made it this year, starring Danny Bonaduce and Barry Williams (Greg Brady). It''s awful. The bigfoot is some computer generated thing, it doesn't really interact with the actors. I wonder how much it cost to produce something like this? How much did those guys get paid? There are a lot of commercials, so I guess they could afford to make it, but I'm still wondering how much...

Assuming its a syfy original the budget is probably a million or less.

It happens. We're all just biodegradable bags of water. Good to see he lasted as long as he did and that he spent most of his years on his feet. That's all you can ask for, sometimes.

On Another Note

The other night I was in full "eCat's shrimp dish" mode and did not sleep at all overnight. So, instead of only wallowing in the pain of my abdomen wringing itself like a water-logged dishrag every 7 minutes I decided to see what Netflix had on its menu under streaming series. So, I basically spent the night in the bathroom with Friday Night Lights streaming in the background. I basically cranked through 6 or 7 episodes from midnight to daybreak (then went to work...Ironman)

1. Awesome show. I never watched it because (while I played football) I was never particularly interested in watching a show about HS football. It is so much more than just that. It really is well crafted.

2. I know why I never heard of Minka Kelly outside of her relationship with Derek Jeter. My God, she's a horrible actress. Worthless.
