I live in Baton Rouge, about 6 hours from Dallas. Denton is about an hour north of Dallas which is 254 miles from Houston.

I don't know why I thought you had moved to Texas.

Will be in NOLA in June for a few days. How often you get to the city?

Not as much as I used to. Going to Houston quite a bit to see my mother. Her chemo isn't causing much of a response.

I hate to hear that.

I'm planning to do a Friday lunch at Galatoire's. It's been a while.

Sorry to hear that too. My mom had a treatment cancelled today because her WBC was low at 2.1. She's been doing treatments since mid 2012. Every 8 months of so they have to turn up the heat a bit more. Her body can't take full on chemo so she's been doing herceptain treatments with chemo recently added because it spread a bit again. Good luck to her.

if I live long enough to get the cancer, my chemotherapy is going to as much weed as I can smoke on a daily basis.

I'm surprised you haven't scheduled yourself for unnecessary chemo just so you can smoke weed with impunity...

When fish are in schools, they sometimes take debate.

A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months.

When the smog lifts in Los Angeles U.C.L.A.

The batteries were given out free of charge.

A dentist and a manicurist married. They fought tooth and nail.

A will is a dead giveaway.

With her marriage, she got a new name and a dress.

A boiled egg is hard to beat.

When you've seen one shopping Center you've seen a mall.

Police were called to a day care Center where a three-year-old was resisting a rest.

Did you hear about the fellow whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now.

A bicycle can't stand alone; it is two tired.

When a clock is hungry it goes back four seconds.

The guy who fell onto an upholstery machine is now fully recovered.

He had a photographic memory which was never developed.

When she saw her first strands of grey hair she thought she'd dye.

Acupuncture is a jab well done. That's the point of it.

My grand pappy told me about that flood. Seems he was a rowdy teen back in 37. Thank God they didn't have date rape laws back then.

I was listening to the comedy channel on XM yesterday, the guy was ragging on how old his aunt was. He said she had blueprints to the wheel. I thought of Crotch...

Finally done setting up my moms place in the old folks home. What a pain in the ass this experience has been/will be. There is so much crap to go through. Not looking forward to selling off her 1970s furniture that decorates the house. I might just burn it.

Good idea. I'll start prepping it now by moving it onto the front lawn. Should be ready by next March.
