2 hours later, don't give Hedge that must credit. He is probably using the time to find the cheapest Mexican to help him configure it.

They should make some kind of keyboard interface for these Roku boxes instead of having to use the remote and only be able to tap in one letter at a time...

Has it moved into the realm of acceptable English to use the verb "be" in conjunction with the progressive tense of a verb? When I was coming up, it was not a good look.

It was not acceptable to "always be closing." It was you are "always closing."

I just received a pitch book where a bullet point in the doc was "always be improving." I don't know how harshly to judge it.

Yeah, I know the Glengarry connection (which is why I chose to use ABC). I'm saying, regardless of popular reference points (I mean, I could quote a million Prince quotes...but they would never be considered proper English), has it moved fully into acceptable English to drop a "be" into a sentence and change the following verb to its progressive tense?

I guess the answer is yes. I should be less judgemental of this manager's pitch book.

on my Mac, the adaptor is just an HDMI to Thunderbolt. I ordered it off Amazon based on reviews. Not sure who the manufacturer is.

for the Nexus 7, it's a Micro USB to MHL HDMI adaptor made by SkiVa, however the Google Nexus 7 isn't on the list of supported devices on the front of the package. my wife's folks ordered it for her so they may have gotten one that doesn't work with the Nexus 7. Then again, one of the supported devices on the list on the package is "Samsung Galaxy Nexsus (sic)" so it might just be a total piece of shit.

I probably just need to try it with an HDMI cable that I know works but it's such a hassle to get to those ports on my TV, that I haven't done it. my wife insists on keeping all cords hidden but then whenever you have a problem, it's half-a-day just getting the shit all tucked away in conduits pulled out and put back in. what is up with chicks and wires?
