Ah, so the fundamental interest of this thread is 'sister fucking.' Fair enough. You know "Deliverance" has been on TV a lot lately. There's some fucking, real and imagined, in that one too. Any of you yahoos know how to paddle a canoe? Just wondering..

Unfortunately, however, I probably wouldn't fuck you even if you were my sister.

Heh. My mind is at ease. How do you paddle your little canoe then? Astern or aft? I don't want to jump to any conclusions but the answer is fairly obvious, at least when the moon is agolw. No baseball thread huh. No worries.....keep your mind off your sister, it is healthy for the most part.

Not in your world brain dead. Your puny little dick doesnn't even protude enough to pass for a rudder. Canoe my ass, you need a life jacket to keep your head above water.

Any baseball talk here, or do you all spend your time jacking off in the basement with a microscope and heavy duty speakers to pass for 'experience.'

There's a guy in Miami, has a pool I think, very proud of it, that I think you would get on just swimmingly with.

ATM, quick question re "Game of Thrones." I watched it again last night and I think I understood a lot more the second time through, but a few questions remain. I'm still not entirely clear on Bean's family/progeny but I guess that will be explained further with the next episode. But my question is: why can't Sean Bean's family move to "London" (whatever the capital is called) with him when he goes to work for the king? They implied that the former "hand to the king," married to his wife's sister, had his family living there with him, so why wouldn't Bean's family be able to make the move--other than the daughter who they're trying to set up with the prince? Maybe it will be explained later but I wasn't sure if I was missing something obvious on that.

I think the basic reason is that the North is very remote from the rest of the kingdom, and also is almost half of the land area of the entire kingdom. Only his oldest son (to rule), wife (to help since his son is pretty young), and the youngest son (who is very young to stay with his mother) stay to rule the North while he is gone and he is supposed to take the rest of his family with him. i think the difference is that seat of the old Hand of the King (The Eyrie, which we'll see soon) was just a few days away from the capital, unlike Winterfell. Presumably its not too hard to be at the capital and look after your own fiefdom anywhere in the south, but the Starks in the North are kind of very remote from the rest of the kingdom.

as aTm said it's simply a matter that it's a months travel from Winterfell to Kings Landing, and since Winterfell is the seat of government for the northern half of the realm you certainly wouldnt want to abandon it.

1st episode was great. Tyrion kicks ass. Daenerys wedding was weak but that's usually the case when you try to show something that is supposed to involve 40k+ with 150 people.
