An announcement is coming tomorrow that UMass is joining the MAC for football only.
Also seem to be speculation that the Sun Belt is pursuing additional teams, possibly to expand to 12 members. Louisiana Tech is a heavy bet as the WAC will be worthless by 2012. Jacksonville State has also declared that they will study a move upwards.

San Jose State
New Mexico State
Louisiana Tech
Utah State
Texas State
Texas-San Antonio
