This is turning into an epic bedshit. ZERO points in the paint all game long. This reminds me of the ineptitude I see sometimes in high school games I have to cover. I find myself rooting for a team to put up an astounding number like Butler's current 8-for-49 or a 1-for-22 2nd half just to have something interesting to write about.

How does a team go 32 minutes of a game and literally only have one bucket from within the three point line?

The NCAA should prohibit Butler from postseason play indefinitely for this performance.

Well, we know what an actual abortion looks like now...

Horrible. This championship should be stricken from the record books because of the buffoonery, and last year's Duke title should be retroactively stripped for almost losing to this bunch.

Who all was involved in the money pool?

I remember me, Bluecat, Crash, Sardis, eCat, Hedge, Cletus, Talent, Mexico, Rat and BRM. Who was the other entrant?

If Matt Howard had Duke on his jersey instead of Butler, I'm pretty sure he'd be the most hated college basketball player in the country. Man, can he flop.

I don't know what you're talking about. There's probably proof of this "money pool" you are talking about somewhere in the Worldcrossing archives.

On Mike and Mike today, they replayed Liam's Mom's NCAA picks from the beginning of the tournament. She had UConn beating Butler 51-39 in the finals. The idea that she had UConn and Butler in the finals is ridiculous enough. The fact that she almost nailed such a preposterous final score is unreal.

18 percent shooting, and that was with the great burst of late scoring. I'm sorry I compared them to Wisconsin. That's an affront to the basketball that Wisconsin actually plays.

Fewest points by a champion since 1949. Congrats to UNC for their third straight year as reigning 2009 National Champ. Hopefully, we can finally crown a new one in 2012.

The thought occurs to me that we probably could have expected a cruddy Final Four in hindsight. They were playing at the home of the Houston Texans, were they not?

Worldcrossing finally managed to be ahead of schedule on something... and it was their demise.

I have a feeling there will not be a cinderella team in the NCAA final 4 next year. CBS can't take a ratings hit like that again.

This format is new but I have a feeling we'll grow to appreciate it. Its certainly a more powerful interface than Worldcrossing.

My favorite part of the postgame celebrations was when Jim Nantz asked Kemba Walker like 14 questions...and answered every single one of them himself.

While Nantz and Co. were busy juggling Kemba's balls on their collective chin, not enough love was given to Oriaki. He was the difference maker inside, the reason both UK and Butler chucked up so many threes and why the "slashers" didn't attack the basket when the outside shooting hands went cold.
