I like Donnan, I hope he's not guilty of anything.

I haven't liked him ever since he whined after we beat the Dawgs in '98. Him yelling across the field at Fulmer in the 4th quarter of that game was hilarious.
But then he cussed out Fulmer (with Fulmer's daughter right next to him) during the postgame handshake. Then he claimed that he only whispered his disapproval in Fulmer's ear after the game. He blamed Fulmer for making a big deal out of it by talking about it to the media. He tried to use the whole thing to motivate his team the following year and we still kicked their asses.

Georgia teams under Donnan were like Georgia teams under Richt: collections of superb individual athletes that formed teams which were always less than the sum of their parts. They also couldn't beat Florida if their lives depended on it.

Never will, unless they have another gay pride dance in the endzone.

Someday, UGA will find a coach that knows how to take the huge talent they automatically recruit and unite it into a cohesive team. When that happens, UGA will be scary. They might even beat Florida once or twice per decade.
In the meantime, I'm hoping that there will be enough Dawg fans that accept endless mediocrity for as long as possible.

That was '97 and Manning. Not '98 and Tee.

Yes, of course. Brain fart on my part.

No DDAL?
That sucks. I hope he makes it over before the season starts.

DDAL will return when his antidepressant cocktail kicks in.

...and he will -- predictably -- predict Dawg domination, at long last, this season.

...only to have his hopes dashed when the Dawgs get violated in the WLOCP for the umteenth time.

I'd say his rec room is in the midst of an ongoing transition from 100% UGA...to 50/50 UGA/FSU...to 75/25 FSU. Another disappointing season in Athens and it may go 100% FSU. We'll probably find him on the ACC boards as NNAL (Nastily Nole-A-Licious).

I'm sure that's what they're saying. They need to let it go and realize that it evens out.
