we'll just have to see how it plays out.

Yep, you're right about that.
I just think if the NCAA hits UNC hard, that will open the door for players to be paid, at least football and men's basketball players. Given the tough times many programs are having meeting the Title IX requirements, I'd say the US converting to single-pay healthcare is more likely to happen.

Grayson Allen announces he's coming back to dook... Team should be loaded next season along with Kennard, Jefferson, Jones and the top two guys in the HS class. Just hand them the trophy... could easily go 40-0. Cal would already have had every one of these players talked in to declaring for the draft. Can you say EGO? Cal will never win another championship at UK. Write it down.

Harrison Twins, Dakari Johnson, Willie Cauley Stein, Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb.....
yea, Cal just pushes them out the door.
Duke will be loaded next year, no doubt
I can't speak to whether Cal will win again
but I wouldn't trade him for any coach
and you'd eventually complain about any coach that replaced him

Congrats to Nova (Do we have any Nova fans here?).
That one hurts. An older attorney said he hadn't felt like that since '77. The '77 team didn't lose it at the horn, but they blew a second half lead.
The four point swing to end the first half was the deciding factor. It gave Nova that bit of momentum it needed.
UNC had opportunities and didn't capitalize. Nova had opportunities and capitalized.
I could complain about the officiating, but that's part of the game. You have to deal with it, and they deal with it every year in Hansbrough Indoor.
I never thought this team would make it past the second weekend or accomplish as much as they did. They played with heart, poise and toughness. I hate it for Marcus and Brice.
Hicks bit on that little point guard and left Jenkins wide open.
Fucking a. This one hurts. My poor mother only walked outside to let the dogs out yesterday. I stopped by yesterday afternoon and she looked like she had been crying all day.
A friend of mine was robbed at 5am before he left Chapel Hill. He only had $20.00 in cash. So, the robber asked for his phone. Did the robber take the phone? No. He stomped on it and said "that's what you get for only have $20.00 in cash when someone wants to rob you."
So, fuck it all. Fuck Dook and that Ted Cruz lookalike cocksucker.
If 1) everyone returns, 2) Bradley pans out, 3) Woods can provide some scoring off of the bench, 4) Jackson and Berry learn to take over games consistently when needed, 5) Hicks learns to guard without fouling, 6) Meeks plays like a man and 7) everyone stays healthy, next year's team can make it back. The variables are too numerous though...

Carolina is getting Seventh Woods next year but they need First Woods. Feel free to use that anytime.

you guys are not paying attention to the team that Duke is building to return next year.
talk of making it back is premature

Winning the ACC is one thing, but getting to the FF is another. Any team in the top 10 has a decent shot at finding a way to the FF. I think UNC would be a top 10 team if no underclassmen leave.

what also seems to be premature is the demise of college basketball
Perry Ellis will be back for his 12 season at Kansas too

Yep, one year of no OAD teams in the FF and everyone loves college hoops again.

"Congrats to Nova (Do we have any Nova fans here?)."
Well, my college hoops allegiance on this board has been Villanova since inception. Growing up in PA it was all about the Big 5 in Philly. I am more of a casual fan when it comes to college basketball since the Big East let college foozball in and totally destroyed the conference, so I really wasn't orgasmic when Villanova won like the rest of you all college fans are with your teams. I did enjoy the parallels to the 1985 team and it was good to se Rollie get excited, but when you watch NBA basketball as much as I, it is kind of bleh to watch college, to be honest.

I was for Nova in the tourney solely because it was "Philly" (as much as Nova is Philly). The refs showed them a little more favor, but that's not what won the game. I forgot who it was, but someone here said a week or so ago that Hicks can't play without fouling. That bore out. Excellent game. I loved it.
That newsobserver link eCat posted is like manna from heaven. I've watched it 5 times. That brown dude may have been able to negotiate a little piece of pussy from that curly-haired girl if he played his cards right.

Nova is Conshohocken, isn't it? I crashed with a friend of mine's brother who went to school there in 1990 when I saw the Dead play at the Spectrum. They had an apt. about 20 yards from Billy Cunningham's bar (think it was called Billy C's). It wasn't far from campus and we went over there one day. I don't remember much about the trip but I could tell you what the Dead played.

It's kinda Conshohocken, but probably more Radnor...down by Bryn Mawr and all their ugly bitches. I always just call it "off the Blue Route."

I just remember Conshohocken on an sign where we exited to go to his apt. and trying to say it while I was tripping balls.

Here's something about Billy C's old bar, which apparently is now a lacrosse hangout:

I like the part at the bottom about the guy being longest-tenured bartender in "the Conshohockens."

Spent a summer in Willow Grove working for a company
I went to a pioneer festival there- Conshohocken - one time - they had all the people who did stuff before electricity - so they have a parade where everyone walks thru the village with their wares and the butcher is walking thru with a pigs head on a hook. Freaked all the little kids out

He would have had a better chance if UNC had won the game.
