I don't recall any looting during the Occupy Wall Street thing...

I would agree that most people (not just black kids) who get arrested for a crime have probably done things in the past that they could've been arrested for if they'd been caught, most likely the very thing they've gotten arrested for this time (drugs, burglary, etc. - OK, maybe not murder, I like to think that most murders are one off type of situations). In other words, most people who are arrested for a legitimate crime, it's highly unlikely that it was their first time doing it. I don't agree that most people "look the other way" at their past crimes, however...

For instance, these folks don't look like they're looting anything or inciting any kind of riot. In fact, go to the 38 second mark, that handsome devil in the green shirt standing on the wall in the back holding a flag is yours truly, and I can assure you the most felonious act I saw that day was some chick dancing topless. Cops were very friendly and amused at the whole thing. But it is telling that Toe would love to see We the People's constitutional right to assembly squelched simply b/c he doesn't "like" what those people are assembling for. Toe makes it really easy to see the totalitarian impulse that jerks like him try to hide (however ineffectively) behind the false moniker of "conservatism"...

And no, I didn't go to NYC to take part in the Occupy Wall Street "movement", I was just there for the weekend and thought it would be fun to check it out and "participate". I'm sure Toe is against that, too...

Be honest. You were hoping to hook up with a patchouli- smelling girl who dances topless while promoting commune living and veganism.

Looks like the Democratic national convention to me.
I agree with AA in that I am pro-peaceful protest and anti-looters. Here are two excellent ways to keep the two distinct. The first is the best:

If that fails, this is an excellent Plan B. From the LA riots:

Note that the news dweebs seemed more concerned that the weapons were registered than all the violence, arson, robbery and looting going on all over the city. Typical Californians. This demonstrates why we need the 2A now more than ever.

I have to admit my views may be skewed by just getting through the second season of the wire
my view is also eschewed by the fact i've been arrested twice and if the the cops would have been there its would be over 100

You talk like a patchouli- smelling girl who dances topless while promoting commune living and veganism is a bad thing.

Duh. But come to think of it, I bet Toe is against that, too? In fact, I wonder what he's "for". I mean besides the right to sit on his front porch with a shotgun across his lap, chewing leather and complaining about everybody else. He has made it abundantly clear that he's a staunch advocate of those rights...

You caught me, you're just too smart....I am merely holding the mirror to a dem prez, dem mayors and dem hypocrisy (calling everybody else a racist). This is a job that the MSM does well when dealing with a repub prez, mayor or hypocrisy.....so your bleating is tacit admission that you see and admit difference in bias. You complain about me but ignore the other, fine, carry on.

"so your bleating is tacit admission that you see and admit difference in bias."
That doesn't even make sense, but no worries, that's par for the course for you. Also, my "bleating" didn't have anything to do with your daily whining about the "MSM", but rather your assertion that what's happening in Baltimore is somehow connected to (if not authorized by) the same people who were involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement, a claim that exemplifies wild paranoia even by your standards. But come to think of it, you did bitterly imply that the "MSM" would probably characterize peaceful, nonviolent, non-looting protesting such as Occupy Wall Street as... a protest, rather than, say, anarchy or revolution or some other extreme behavior that is nothing more than a product of your own fevered imagination. But hey, as long as you're pissed off, I'm happy...
My question is, why do you hate the constitution? Why do you think people shouldn't have the right (guaranteed by the constitution) to gather peacefully and discuss an issue that concerns them? My answer is that you are a totalitarian clod who hates anything that mammy didn't tell you was "OK". Maybe you need to suck on mammy's other tit for awhile, the one you have evidently suckled down to a withered dug is dry....

When Occupy Wall Street was going on these rioters were in the 6th grade.

For American voters, MSNBC is the least trustworthy source of news in U.S., while Fox News is the most trusted, according to a new Quinnipiac survey.
The poll, which was conducted from February 26-March 2, found that 29 percent of 1,286 registered voters ranked Fox News first when asked to compare the trustworthiness of coverage offered by organizations including NBC News, ABC News, CBS News, MSNBC and CNN.
"The days of the three major network newscasts being the voice of leverage and trust are over," Quinnipiac's Tim Malloy told the Washington Examiner's media desk.
In comparison, CNN scored 22 percent of the vote, while NBC News and CBS News each came in at 10 percent and ABC News registered at eight percent.
MSNBC came in dead last, with only seven percent of the vote.

Polls don't count until you poll a million at the least. Anyone can sit outside Kroger and gather that many opinions

They can only poll old, technologically illiterate people who still have land lines. Thus the skew in Fox's favor...

I see Bernie Sanders is running for the Dem nomination. What's the current mood on the PNN Dem contingent? Circle all that apply.
a. I will vote for Bernie Sanders.
b. I like Bernie Sanders, but he doesn't have a prayer so I won't vote for him.
c. I don't like Bernie Sanders so I won't vote for him.
d. I'm holding out for Elizabeth Warren.
e. I'm voting for Hillary because she is a great candidate and all the accusations against her are false and part of the vast right-wing conspiracy.
f. I'm voting for Hillary. Yes, she is a charisma-free, greedy, corrupt liar, but she is OUR charisma-free, greedy, corrupt liar.
