AA, don't we get a week of rest before the SECCG? I know we have to win out or aTm has the tie breaker and I know there's a game after Western Carolina, but it IS Auburn...

Neither K-State nor the Irish play anyone in December.
Oh I agree IB, I'm of the ilk who believes there will not be a SEC player in the BCSCG this year. The one thing the Irish have to do is go to USCw and win to close out the season and I right now, I just don't think they will.

I expect a Pac-12/Big-12 championship game.
There is no Big-XII championship game. And there wont be until Texas says its okay to add BYU and Boise State to their own personal conference.

K-State has is pretty easy, just get past Baylor and then they have two weeks to prepare for Texas visiting in Manhattan.

Well Rat, that very well might happen. But it is not going to happen if USC can't beat the Irish AND Texas can't beat K-State.

At this point, I'd say it is unlikely that both K-State and Notre Dame runs the table. But one of them will. I don't know which one but at least one of them will be 12-0 on December 2nd of this year. A once beaten SEC team would NEVER-EVER-EVER! play for the MNC with a 12-0 K-State in Glendale or a 12-0 Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.

So really the only question that matters for the SEC is this: if only Texas OR USC can get 'er done (but not both), which team defeats Oregon? Because that is your only path for the SEC to the MNC. There is ZERO CHANCE that an undefeated Notre Dame, Oregon, or K-State, misses the MNC in favor of a once beaten Florida/Georgia/ or Alabama.

Sorry.

What about Oklahoma? They are the most consistently overrated, overhyped, and overchoking program in cfb which MUST play in the BCSCG. In that respect they are the new Notre Dame.

USC just isn't that good. I don't expect them to beat Notre Dame. They may lose to UCLA this coming week which would put the Bruins into the Pac12 title game.

You just don't get it dipshit. The SEC is the NFL of college football. Its by far the best conference in the game. You question that there is no further discussion and you, as I have said before are an idiot. A one loss SEC team will overtake a no loss Big 12 team in the BCS when its all over. Watch & learn rookie.

Then the SEC is in trouble-deep. They may not get a participant in the MNC game.

Aside from Alabama running the table and winning another MNC... my best desire would be for NfnD to be snubbed after going undefeated because O and K-St are ahead of them and undefeated also!

THEN, send those bastards to the Sugar Bowl to get thir collective asses handed to them by Nick's boys with a month to prepare.

That is a non-answer, answer. The SEC might get a team in the MNC but the SEC no longer controls its own destiny. aTm saw to that.

Agreed but... I pick Bama v K-State. Why you ask?

If you were alive and pulling for Alabama football on Dec 31, 1973...

Fuck ND. Fuck their golden dome. Fuck thier stadium. Fuck their field. Fuck their helmets. Fuck their four leaf clover. Fuck their helmets when they put the four leaf clover on the side of it. Fuck thier blue or green home jersey. Fuck their piss ant leper mascot. Fuck ND ever having anything good happen to them again. They cannot suffer enough and the only good that could come from them making it to the MNC game is the opportunity to get ran over rough shod. I am an Alabama fan and I pull for Tennessee when they play ND. I pull for AUBURN when they play ND.

Fuck ND.

That is exactly what will happen if all three remain undefeated. IF they all win out, the SEC will not get a team in the MNC and rat will have a stroke.

Nah, Rat won't have a stroke.... have to have a heart for that shit don't ya?

Hiya Rat!

And from this moment forward for the 2012 season, IF Alabama can't get to the BCSCG, my scenario is what I'm pulling for. Now if those teams start losing, IT''S ON! But if we can't get there, I want ND to feel Auburn's pain...undefeated AQ team who didn't get there.

Only Nfnd get's it's ass handed to 'em in the Sugar. Pretty simple.

Cincinnati was 12-0 in 2010 in an AQ conference and didn't get there. They were also Aw-burned.

Naw. The SEC will be there even if ND & KSU are undefeated. Mark it down

This could happen. It will happen ONLY if...

USC beats Notre Dame and...

...Texas beats K-State.

That's it. No other way this happens.
