A day that saw a 2,3, and 4 seed lose in the first round is topped off by a half court buzzer beater.

My bracket is totally destroyed, but that was pretty entertaining.

That took me back to 1979 when Bryant Gumbel was on the desk at NBC trying to get those 3 straight fantastic finishes on the air.

Not 1979, it was 1981. I still remember US Reed hitting that halfcourt shot for Arkansas and then Rolando Blackman hitting a baseline jumper for K-St.

not really no

others may be but IU has the entire weight of their state on their shoulders to win this game. Its more than just a tournament game. Their last relevant win before this season was beating UK and they milked it for 2 seasons.

also this is probably going to be a road game for UK today - the crowd will be cheering for IU

I worry about every game. But yes, I don't expect UK to get past IU today - the chip on Hoosier shoulders just too big.

IF UK manages to win, I will worry about UNC.

i looked at the overall leaders on yahoo. before the wichita game today 5 people had picked 31 out of 32 right yesterday --they all missed the michigan state game and 3 of them had michigan state as the champion. talk about fucking up a perfect bracket

After Ingraham hit those free throws with 25 seconds or so left, Yale should have setup for a 3 point shot, you can't trade basket for free throws down 3 with that amount of time left.
