He's 28, but his former roommate Tony Joiner is 30. Try and keep up, Skippy.

Athlon mags are on the rack - Gators picked to finish 3rd in the SEC East. Tenny picked to win the East followed by Ugha. You-know-who is picked to win the West, SEC and NC. Yes, Bammer.

TSN and ESPN mags have the same SEC East predix. Major wrist slashing in Tenny if they lose to UF again.

Another season opener against another overmatched opponent and the same results.
Del Rio showed poise. a little better than Grier's opener but one wonders if he can stretch the field vertical.
Some game breakers, can they get open downfield, and can they stay out of trouble.
RB by committee of Scarlett and Cronkrite looks serviceable if not formidable
Defense makes the once in a while blunder but otherwise looks solid.
The OLine is again what has become the usual - piecemeal talent struggling to put together consistency. Killing drives with one stupid penalty or uncontested sack.
On the good side - no turnovers or significant injuries and there appears to be a decent kicker after last years cluster*.
Great to have SOS back in the Swamp for good wearing the right colors.

Del Rio has a very weak arm for the level of competition he'll be facing, and Calloway is the only elite talent at WR (we'll see about Wells and Cleveland now that they're back). McElTeeth is going to have to scheme every week to get his WRs open enough for the QB to be successful. He needs to watch some Louisville tapes - that's something that Petrino does better than anyone else (possibly excepting Bama but they have talent nobody else does).

Thank goodness Nick recruits so well... Without that talent no one else has, we'd be 0-1 instead of lucking past USC.

The last two Bama victories were made possible by smoke and mirrors. At least what AA would say. Haven't seen him on the Bama thread this week. I wonder why. He usually disappears after losses, but the Tide has been winning.

I do not "disappear" after losses, you cock-gobbling fuckhead. Your room temp IQ makes this forum worthless. I have asked you nicely not to post here, but you persist. You are the reason it's gone from a robust membership to cobwebs, the same with the rest of the football threads and puterbac's. You spew your filth as you purport to be a "man of the cloth" - your idiocy, lies, passive-aggression, and hypocrisy drive good people away. You make me nauseous.
I wish nothing but the worst for you. I wish you'd draw a warm bath and find something sharp.
