Yale doesnt deserve to win this game. They look like walkons trying to close out a game in garbage time huddling over the ball in a trap. Baylor would win by 25 if they played full court pressure all game.

Purdue was down 28-27 but they still we like a 55% favorite or thereabouts. Now they are leading at the half, 31-28 and they've jumped up to 85%. WTF?

It's based on a rating system, so it assumes that one team is better than the other to begin with and thus will generally outscore the other by a certain amount over the time remaining. Miami, for example is 86% chance to win over Chattanooga even though the game is 0-0 with 40 minutes left. If Chatanooga starts the game off 10-0 Miami would probably still be expected top win the game even though it was 10-0.

I get that, but a 20% jump seemed like too much for Purdue just by scoring 4 points to close out the half...

Interesting. It takes who has the ball into account. With 2 minutes left in OT it was 50/50 when UALR had the ball and now 55/45 when Purdue got the ball after the shot clock violation. 73-72 UALR. Purdue had >99% chance at the 5 minute mark and have choked like dogs possession after possession since then.
