Maryland has a puncher's chance. The deeper the go into the tourney, the better they should perform. I look at them and Villanova the same way.

Nate's boys have the South as the killer region. The East is second and KU wins it all.

I stayed pretty much true to their stuff
but I think people are overestimating Kentucky's ability to win on the road or in a neutral arena.
they haven't really put up a solid resume on being able to travel well.

Gotta give Crotch some props, those guys are saying UNC vs. KU is the most likely finals matchup...

I will not get drawn in to investing emotional equity in this Villanova team. I don't see them making the sweet 16.

Villanova is the Eagles (the Andy Reid/Chip Kelly kind, not the Glen Frey version...or maybe both) of college basketball. They seem to be exciting and worthy of their place in high esteem, but ultimately disappoint.

With all the great teams, they have only reached the final four once since 1985. It's made me tune them out the last 5 years or so.

There is way too much chalk in my bracket for how mediocre most teams are this year.

I'll chalk that up to your mediocre hoops knowledge. Get it? "Chalk it up"? BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Ahem...

even when Kansas has the best team there is a 1 in 4 chance they'll lose by the second round.
Perry Ellis is already getting letters from AARP

It is impressive how Perry has kept his hairline from moving any farther than it has, though, over these years. I really expected his hairline to be much like Jevon Carter's from WVU at this point.

The fall out has begun
Well, DraftExpress via The Vertical no longer has Simmons the No. 1 overall pick, losing out to Duke’s Brandon Ingram. The one thing I took away from the article, is Givony citing a scout calling him ‘a taller Rajon Rondo’ in the sense of his stat sheet looks great, but half of the numbers come late in the game when it’s already over.

Crotch's first letter from AARP arrived via the pony express...

I read that report. It was harsh, though not entirely without merit, but Ben may have needed that to kick him in the butt. He did not play with a lot of fire or leadership this year. Any idiot who drafts a Dukie deserves what they get, though.
