So UK-Indiana in the 2nd round with the winner getting UNC? That sounds like fun. Of course, Xavier will probably win the regional.

IU/UK will be the toughest ticket to get in the entire tourney
No idea if Indiana will travel well to Iowa

All we needed was Michigan St thrown in there
Don't count out WVU... Terrific defensive team.

You need to be more specific. Do you mean UNC-Asheville, UNC-Wilmington, or UNC-Chapel Hill?

in the "I don't want to be embarassed again as a coach or I'll lose my job" department
LSU men’s basketball coach Johnny Jones announced late Sunday afternoon that the Tigers will not participate in a postseason tournament this year.
“We will be able to utilize this time to get better and start preparations for next season. We fell short of the mark of getting to the NCAA Tournament; I take full responsibility for this team, and will do the things necessary to make sure we are able to reach one of our main goals at LSU in the future,” said LSU Head Coach Johnny Jones.
Jones consulted with his staff and met with the team earlier on Sunday before announcing his decision.
The Tigers would have gone into the post-season without the services of senior leader Keith Hornsby, who had season-ending surgery on Tuesday after reaggravating an internal injury suffered in November that caused him to miss the entire first month of the season. Freshman guard Antonio Blakeney played the two SEC Tournament games under the weather and would have been listed as questionable at best for any games this coming week.
“That also factored into our decision, but it is primarily now my responsibility to begin working and preparing our players for the prospects that lie ahead,” said Jones.

IU needs to win their game first before we have a chance at Kentucky.
IU fans should travel well to IOWA, especially if they win that first game.
Also, fuck Syracuse for being in the tourney. That was awful.

no offense to any other team but that's the matchup people wanted
no one is excited about Duke and they couldn't have UNC/Kansas in the same bracket
Although Texas and Texas A&M is another made for TV bracket

I though bilas was going to have an aneurysm over somewhere called Monmouth being excluded.
dickie V is a spaz even at the age of whatever he is
anybody know when the maui brackets are coming out
the kid from UConn travelled before the 50 footer
wish oklahomas 50 footer would have counted that would have been a much better game the wv/ku
Kentucky a 4 seed being the 4th favorite in vegas tell you the fix was in to line up IU/KY Jelly --the forth favorite should be a 1 or 2 seed right?

Agree with crash. That UCONN shot should not have counted. Still an amazing game though.

Not sure about Miami after attending the our game in the Dean Dome against them and watching us beat them by 25 (and it wasn't that close)...

They shouldn't, but his decision to not put his shitshow of a team in the NIT to be embarrassed helps him buy some time, possibly.
