We're just trying like heck to get better.
How's Tubby doing in Cinci? Please tell him him we love, him, we miss him, and if he comes back, all is forgiven.

Tubby's immortal "Fear the Thumb" pose.
Those were the days.

You have not been watching UGA play.

UGA has been bending us over for most of the past decade. I see nothing that will change that this year.

The state of Alabama may be #49 in every state ranking (Mississippi being the perrenial #50), but we take our football seriously. We'll outbid Texas and California if necessary. Every time Saban's contract is up for renewal, the state sales tax goes up by another dime on the dollar.

Muschamp has only been successful when he was standing on the sidelines with Nick Saban, Tommy Tuberville, and Mack Brown.
Georgia will sodomize Will's defense.

Every time UF has needed Auburn to beat UGha to advance to Atlanta the Tigers have gone belly up. This Saturday decides it.

Never depend on Auburn to beat Georgia. It used to be the opposite, but not recently.

Tomorrow is the Auburn-Georgia game. A few random thoughts:
1. I'm tired of losing to Georgia. I'd rather beat them than Bama. But the past decade has trained me not to be optimistic about tomorrow.
2. This rivalry used to be a much calm and respectful one than it has become in recent years. Georgia fans are STILL complaining about Nick Fairley's rude treatment Aaron Murray. I can't figure out why they are so obsessed about that game. They fell 5 yards short of beating Bama and playing for a NC. They routinely get crushed by Florida and often get slapped around by South Carolina. But you never hear the same whining about those teams.
3. I can see that UGA fans are so desperate for some kind of championship - even just the SEC east. They've had to sit there and watch Bama win 3 NC's, LSU win 2 NC's, Florida win 2 NC's, Auburn win an NC, Tennessee win an NC, and even Tech - TECH! - win an NC, while the Dawgs just keep window shopping. Wait 'til Clemson wins one this coming January. The Dawg nations' heads will collectively explode.
