Who is this guy that stole DDAL's login? Sure doesn't sound like the posts that were being raised 3 weeks ago. It is to be commended that they put together a 9 game win streak, but lets also recall they are the only team in the East that drew the 3 crappy teams from the West on their schedule and did not play the 3 teams that are currently in the top 10.

They showed the replay several times (with audio) and there is no whistle until EG is past mid-field on the return. Once he is running in the clear and there's no way anyone is going to catch him, then (and only then) do you hear a whistle. Who blew that whistle I don't know, but no one on the field seemed to respond to it -- players or officials.

I'm just glad we didn't get screwed out of yet another win by yet another terrible referee's call. Even if they did say the play was not reviewable and they wipe-out EG's pick-six, we would still have had the ball and a chance to put the game away with a FG or better.

The thing I still can't believe is how the ref could have said that his knee was down in the first place. In real time it looked like he barely broke stride. I thought when they began to show the replay that there was no way it was going to show his knee hit the ground. I'm glad I was right, but I'm still shaking my head about how the ref could have seen something that was totally not there and be sure enough about it to take 6 points off the board.

Just the number 4 D in the country... They also lead the SEC in sacks. There is an entire world outside of Alabama, you know.

Georgia didn't have to play LSU, Alabama, or Arkansas. When the sched allows you to skip the top three teams in the conference, you're gonna gave some better numbers than you would have.

That said, the Georgia D is decent.

No LSU on the schedule. check

No 'bama on the schedule. check

No Arkansas on the schedule. check

Looks like a weak schedule. Smells like a weak schedule.

Look, nobody is upset GA is going to the big dance. Everyone knows you lucked out though. Don't walk around with the swagger of champ when you don't got reason for it.

Doesn't matter how they got there. They got it done. Kudos to them too. They are SEC East champs. They earned it.

Thanks, BOJ. I know they earned it. It's tough to start winning again when you start losing. I'm proud of the team. I had started to lose confidence in the program. I've seen a lot of positives about this year and reason to be excited about the future. I'm certainly happy with their effort and the results.

EFZ and I was just being a smsrtass.

But I'm calling BS on the part about there being an entire world outside of Alabama.

Just heard Larry Munson died. 89 years-old -- pretty good run. I'll never forgive him for the hobnail boot bullshit, but I have to admire his enthusiasm.

It was great to listen to a Munson broadcast. I'm a little biased, but he and John Forney are two of the best I've ever heard. It's amazing how some people can paint the picture of the game with their voices so vividly.

Then you gotta die to get there. Does that mean we agree there's no better place to live than Alabama?

Love the Redneck Riviera part of AL. Guntersville and Eufaula. The RTJ trail.

Heh. Dooley has about gone 'round the bend with this feed-the-orange-dog shite. If we lose in Lexington I hope somebody jams a M80 up that ceramic pooch's butt and lights it.

>>>Georgia should never have played that Boise game with a young team coming off a losing season.<<<

Totally disagree with that sentiment. I'm still pissed we bought out the game against UNC.

If UGA had beaten BSU the SEC would have FOUR teams in the top 4 of the BCS this week.

Without BSU on your schedule the computers would drop you even more for SOS.

It provided an opportunity without affecting the SEC race.

I would agree with you, but Georgia was coming off a 6-7 season with unproven players at the skill positions and an unproven defense. They needed to beat up on an easy non-conference opponent to get confidence before playing South Carolina. Had Georgia won its first game, they would still be sitting high in the top ten with a chance to jump to the title with a win over Tech and in the SECCG.

Northwest Southern East Ohio Western wouldn't let you out of your contract?
