He announced himself as a candidate for Duke's next "most hated whitey" in last year's finals, and has done far more than enough to secure the nomination this year. May his reign be as miserable as some of his various forebears...

yea its time for him to get face punched by someone
I was planning on visiting the Duke boards and see if they have any sense of sportsmanship about calling this kid out

Duke fans are acting about like I expected them too - much ado about nothing
I'd like to think UK fans would get on Cal to tell that kid to quit that bullshit
I don't like or dislike Kennard, but I am kinda glad he didn't choose UK.

PTI came down pretty hard on Allen. Said he should be suspended.

Not sure this can be viewed, but our little High School here in the county made an appearance on ESPN's Sports Center this week. The guy that I posted about a few weeks ago that broke the 3000 pt mark hit a full court shot in the District Tournament... Sports Center made it their top Full Court Shot Of The Day. Check it out.

Poythress seems to be a poor substitute for Willis

Won't surprise me one bit to see this bunch knocked out in the first round of the tourney....

Lee, a Junior shoots 34% from the free throw line.
Think anyone might have asked him to work on that the last 2 summers?
Briscoe literally can't hit anything but a layup - and sadly I'm not exaggerating on that. I've never seen a player with that poor of shooting start at a major D-I shooting school. He does some great work in the open court and slashing but he also shoots 6-10 shots a game and goes 1-for- if we're lucky
Poythress decides he doesn't want to play anymore and fouls to get put on the bench - that happens too often for it not to be true
and Skal plays like a regular freshman - he is a victim of being over hyped and under prepared for the spotlight of UK. I really don't have a problem with him except that Cal is stuck playing him due to how he recruits. Cal and Company really missed the boat on him in evaluating his talent. I am not a big fan of big foreign kids to begin with. They don't have that AAU background that preps them for the physical game and all of them would play facing the basket like a small forward.
Ulis and Murray are amazing and they are carrying the team. If one has an off night we lose.
When Willis comes back, I think our front court should be Willis, Lee and Humphries with Matthews coming off the bench. I love Poys athleticism but he doesn't care if he plays or not.

Oh, sure. Play like that against other teams. Against Bama, UK are the Globetrotters, Poythress is Meadowlark Lemon, and Bama makes the Washington Generals look like a good NBA team.

yea Poythress was great against Bama
but I'm not sure the kid has played 2 games back to back where he acted like he wanted to be in the game
its beyond frustrating to know the talent level he has but he'd rather be an accountant
