Professor Tiger wrote:If some high-profile pro-life evangelical pastors made a series of extremely harsh condemnations of abortionists, and some nut proceeded to murder two abortionists in cold blood, I think the left/MSM would demand those pastors be arrested for inciting violence.
Well, considering how many nuts have murdered doctors and bombed clinics after being egged on by anti-abortion pastors, the left/MSM has dropped the ball:

http://www.clarkprosecutor.org/html/dea ... ill873.htm

Paul Hill, a former Presbyterian minister and fervent anti-abortionist, used a shotgun to kill Dr. John Bayard Britton and his bodyguard, retired Lt. Col. James Herman Barrett, as they drove into a Pensacola abortion clinic in 1994. Hill told reporters that his death would make him a "martyr" in the anti-abortion movement and that he expected a "reward" in Heaven. Hill was a regular protester at the clinic and stepped out of the way as the truck, with Dr. Britton and Barrett inside, pulled into the parking area. As Barrett got out of the vehicle, Hill fired a shotgun four times at him, then reloaded and fired again, killing both Britton and Barrett. James Barrett's wife, 68 year old June Barrett, was also in the car and wounded. At his trial, Hill attempted to present a defense claiming that his actions had been justifiable homicide, since he had killed the two men in order to prevent the murder of unborn children. The judge refused to allow this argument in court, and Hill refused to present any other defense. He was sentenced to death and rejected any effort to appeal the verdict. Hill became the first killer of an abortion clinic doctor to be executed.
During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

Try Google:

December 30, 1994: Two receptionists, Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols, were killed in two clinic attacks in Brookline, Massachusetts. John Salvi was arrested and confessed to the killings. He died in prison and guards found his body under his bed with a plastic garbage bag tied around his head. Salvi had also confessed to a non-lethal attack in Norfolk, Virginia days before the Brookline killings.

January 29, 1998: Robert Sanderson, an off-duty police officer who worked as a security guard at an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, was killed when his workplace was bombed. Eric Robert Rudolph, who was also responsible for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing, was charged with the crime and received two life sentences as a result.

July 16, 2001: Steven Rogers, a security guard at a clinic in Melbourne, Australia was shot in the chest and killed by Peter James Knight. Knight was charged and was sentenced to life in prison on November 19, 2002.
During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

There was a nurse who was badly injured in the Birmingham attack by the name of Emily Lyons. Met her on a number of occasions. Nice lady.

Abortionists are in the crosshairs of nuts same as civil rights leaders were 2 generations ago. Not so with a single pro-life rabble rouser, though...they can make their case all they want and never look over their shoulder.

But that was a GREAT supposition, prof. Keep'em coming.

When big protests against abortion break out all over the country, and some of those protests include chants of "What do we want? Dead abortionists!" and a Rick Warren or a Billy Graham lend their name/face/support to such protests, and some nut then kills two abortion clinic workers, and the MSM/Left struggle mightily to deny any connection between the rhetoric and the crime, get back to me.

Okay, you've amended your idiocy, prof. I disagree that you've made a substantive point, but at least it's not refutable historically.

Yes, the big gubment forced conversion to Solar/Solyndra/Electric Cars/$4 gas/windmills is a total, progressive, clusterfuck-stimulus failure.

I drove through South Carolina yesterday, and it was $1.99 along I-85. Georgia and North Carolina it's around $2.35.

Frack baby frack!

Merry Christmas, and to those who prefer, Happy Winter Solstice.

I always wearied of assembling complicated toys with Chinese instructions at 1:00 am on Christmas Day, followed by getting up at 5:00 am as the kids opened their Santa Claus presents.

Glad the kids are grown.

I forgive my caucasian brothers.

I'm visiting Dallas, Tejas, for the 1st time in several decades. As I went through the airport (and later, Walmart), the pervading thought in my mind was "FUCK, there are a lot of Mexicans here!"

Mind you, I'm from "El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula" in Baja California, but I haven't seen this many Mexicans in one place since I was in Mexico City in 1981.

NOW I finally understand your fears.

Better hurry up on that fence or this bitch won't be blue in 2020 - it'll be Red, White & Green!
