He's a Cubs fan but a bigger fan of the White Sox. After all, long owned by Charles "The Old Roman" Comiskey.

Plus, I have been drinking Christmas ales repeatedly and get the Cubs and Cuba confused sometimes.

Only way Warren gets the nod is with one of the Castro brothers as her Veep.
The only way Warren gets the nod is if she is 1% more engaging a candidate that Hillary. That wouldn't be very hard. Hillary was the sure-fire, slam dunk, guaranteed Dem nominee in 2008, until she wasn't. Nowadays, the Dem's are lurching to the left, despite the voters' rather emphatic rebuke of leftism in the last election. Warren's leftism has a pretty good chance in the current Dem base that is utterly convinced that inside every American is a socialist, trying to get out.

Americans are against socialism when you call it socialism.

When you call it social security, things are different. Even the elderly, who generally are opposed to everything, are all in favor of that shit.

The evangelicals already hate the pope. Just ask BJU grad Sardis, He's got a bunch of Chick publication tracts to prove it.

Revise and resubmit.

Sardis still carries around a Jack Chick publication explaining how UPC bar codes are the Mark of the Beast as prophesied in the Book of Revelations

Yes, the old folks like their free government checks like everybody else.

Warren might actually pick one of the Castro brothers as her VP. That would make her poll numbers skyrocket among the Dem base.

The accelerating downward spiral of the pope's influence in this world has us evangelicals rethinking our pope=anti-Christ theory.

Ok, so Sony caved to the Norks. I guess we add Kim Il Jong with Mohammed on the list of things we are too pussified to ridicule.

We are screwed as a nation.

Normalizing relations with a regime whose police forces have routinely murdered civilians and whose top officials have tortured prisoners with impunity had to be a tough decision. But you gotta think Cuba did the right thing.

I believe the comaradeship of two leaders who constantly tell their subjects everything's fine, while their respective countries go to the shitter was the bridge that made it happen.

Love this time of year. Cigars International and Cigar.com have a ton of discounts, free shipping, and (as always) no sales tax.

Gotta be careful with the pre embargo stuff. So much is fake. Reputable dealers have peddled fake pre embargo stuff inadvertently.

Won't matter much soon with the relaxed stance on Cuba. Also, to be honest, with the improvements in Nicaraguan and Dominican lines, Cubans are a tad overpriced.

BTW, there is a cigar shop in Dublin that will sale and mail real Cubans. They'll mail the bands and box separately if you wish. But I've have a, ahem, friend, who has never had a problem getting his order.

It's called The Decent a Cigar Emporium if interested.
