We'll never know the content of that conversation between Bill and AG Lynch, but the optics of it was bad no doubt. He should have just called her on the phone and asked her "about the grandchildren". WJC screwed his wife once again for all practical purposes, since Lynch had to recuse herself and that brought Comey into it.

Still, you're talking about emails from a private server. Colin Powell got barely a mention when he did it, nor did then-Gov. Pence get any heat when his were discovered (Condaleezza Rice too, but even the gubmint was using XP Pro back then so there was no diff). Hard to figure how the lone dem in all of those email situations got the major investigation treatment...probably just the luck of the draw.

Colin Powell finally had enough and just walked away from that clown show.

Between the two of them though, I think Condi shows more foresight in her statements and actions.

As far as investigations go, the dems need to be careful. If they think they'd rather have Pence because he's more "stable" - he's will go after gays, abortion and every other evangelical social plank he can.

Goddam, is it not true that Russia and Putin are main adversaries of ours? I get that Trump pulled that stunt with the two Russians in the Oval Office in order to troll his detractors - Limbaugh made that point very well - but giving them prime intel didn't just set dems hair on fire, GOP pols are feeling the flames too. Hells a poppin, so to speak..

I'd like to know what was really said in that meeting. I don't trust either WaPo or McMaster.
