That's what they do in L.A. (admittedly, we probably have a lot more experience out here with how to properly execute the unarmed).

My industry (oil & gas) is on the verge of some very tough times. Appears that our 'good friends' and supporters of Islamist terrorism around the world, the Saudis, have declared war on shale oil. They were one of the only countries at this week's OPEC meetings to insist that no changes in oil production be made. Most other countries wanted to agree to cut back production and help stabilize or raise the price. The Saudis got their way

As a result oil is plummeting. Down to under $70 a barrel. Energy sector stocks were absolutely crushed today. One that I own lost over 25% of its value.

Question is where the administration stands on all this. It should be noted that many of the countries that will suffer most from low oil prices are American enemies (Russia, Venezuela, Iran). So perhaps we are in cahoots with the Saudis yet again to flood the world with oil? We could end up devastating mid and small sized O&G domestic companies though.

Sorry for your loss but it seems a little hypocritical that you're in bed with Big Oil.

I'm sure the oil oligarchy will find a way to get by. It's not like there's any real competition in that industry.

And it IS amusing that one of the registered liberals on this board works for the oil industry. I wasn't aware of that. Next we'll learn IB works for a women's rights group.

DSL, what do you think about Keystone XL?

One point five. I inherited land in Allen Parish, LA, that I'm leasing to the oligarchs. If they strike oil, I'm using the proceeds to fund the revolution.

Keystone ought to have been passed a long time ago, though I don't think it would have any huge economic impact or anything.

You are a heretic in liberal circles. They'd burn you at the stake if the resulting smoke didn't destroy the planet.

I reject the notion of privileged, spoiled bastards thinking they can act like asses just because they come from money.

Except when they're my starting QB.

The big question is....how will the GOP ever be able to finance another presidential campaign w/oil prices, and thus profits, plummeting?

We need congressional hearings on low oil prices NOW!!!1111
