Be careful or you'll make me want to change the board ranks to starfleet ranks.

Re: UCLA Bruins
It's more like sadomasochsitic, snuff, psycho medieval porn...with a bit of gay thrown in a couple times a season.

Re: UCLA Bruins
LOL @ being afraid of 7 collective minutes (at best) of gay shit over 20 episodes of television. I've seen worse taking the A train from midtown through the Village on Halloween.
Are you afraid you'll be inexplicably turned on?

Re: UCLA Bruins
nope just not a big fan of gay relationships
they seem to be much more demonstrative in lawrence kansas and overall I think most gay men who are activists enjoy the shock value of their overboard exuberant behavior as much as they like their behavior.
two old queens in antique store dosen't bother me with typical hetero behavior you would see between a husband wife/
but the gays who arent hiding seems like their way overboard on their affection and yeah that bothers me
but hell if its only 7 minutes could fast forward that pretty easy -- it sounded like it was an ongoing continuing plotline among multiples which I can find better tv shows to watch then that
never did watch the Lword or whatevcer the showtime series was.

Re: UCLA Bruins
What I listed was most of the gay references in about 3800 pages of material so far published, so much material that people like Dot miss it, and the TV show has just confirmed that part by throwing in a couple scenes over the first 15 episodes.

@crashcourse...
I will say, you are right with the pushing of the envelope thing that many of them do. I think the general feeling is that they like to shock because they feel that everyone hates them...when really, many do hate them, but many just don't want to see two skinny funboys grinding each other in a corner like bonobos. Otherwise, I have the hope and thought (maybe naive) that most people don't give a shit what people do in their personal lives.

Re: UCLA Bruins
So there was a review of last week's episode out there that claimed that HBO went for "shock value" by showing a young girl almost get raped by three guys, blah blah blah. Now I feel kinda sad that HBO left out that part where a feeble minded lady got raped "half a hundred times" along with the continuing story of her pregnancy, recovery afterward, etc.

Re: UCLA Bruins
speaking of shitting oneself, I realized when Kingslayer said last night that he had been shitting himself for weeks that nobody seemed to mind the stench when they approached him. then again, they probably stank so bad back then that it wasn't a big deal.

Re: UCLA Bruins
Yeah, probably a lot of equalizing each other out, as far as stench is concerned.
