Yes the Colts won a SB despite Manning not being at his best for that run. Their defense peaked at the right time.

I can't believe that Tom didn't pull that win out lately. It was probably his terrible WRs not getting open and him having no one to throw at.

Their was talk before Sunday that this weeks broncos-jags betting spread could be the highest in NFL history. Supposedly the biggest Vegas line ever was the steelers-27 vs the bucs back in 1976 (the steelers covered, 42-0).

It may not happen since the broncos D looked so bad in Dallas and the jags put up 20 points on their own.

This was was a late 4th qtr roughing the passer call even though Gillberry held Brady up before he hit the ground. Horrible call but not unexpected from officials. Not 1 penalty on NE by the way. Kept them in the game. Hmmmm

Come on Rat, don't pull that mom's basement shit with me. That is designed for Rickart.

You are better than that. Don't be lazy.

And stop touching yourself so damn much. You act like it is a good damn job.

Brady was very Brady-esque tonight, particularly that last drive.

lol The saints put on a clinic on how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A third of the fans left after the pats failed to convert on 4th down from their own 30. Then another third split when Tom heaved that sad-looking INT at 2 minutes.

Just another classic tale of playing not to lose and daring the other team to win. The saints moved down the field with ease and scored a TD to go ahead with 3 minutes to go...and followed that with 2 three-and-outs trying to nurse a small lead. One stinking first down in either of those possesions and they go home happy. Incredibly dumbass coaching...and they got what they deserved.

Well, that was probably more that the fans didn't want to miss the beginning of the Red Sox game, than anything else.

Two points:
A) DVR/Tivo

DVR was invented expressly with baseball in mind. Thanks to triple fast forward, any 3 1/2 hr baseball game and it's 11 minutes of actual action can be boiled down to...15 minutes!

and B) NFL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MLB

Good Lord. Leave before the end of a close fb game to go watch paint dry?

I know it doesn't make much sense. But remember, this is the ALCS and Boston is a baseball town.
