90 k with 2 kids and paying obamacare for coverage doesn't leave much

you can count on on 25 K in taxes imncluding feds/social security/state/sales if not more and 10-15K in obamacare/insurance costs before deductions leaves you 45 k

a decent house in a decent neighborhood is minimum 10-15K a year plus utilities another

food 5-10 K dental 6-10k house furniture/tv/cars/car insurance --likely at least 10K in payments a year if not more

so that's at least 75K just to live and that's lowballing it. you haven't saved anything you haven't accounted for any potential disasterous home repairs car repairs injuires or planned any retirement

I see Macron winning because having a run-off allows the establishment to coalesce against Le Pen and the view of Donald Trump's Presidency, to this point, by the French has hurt the cause of the National Front. Le Pen does have going for her the fact that Macron appears to be a little too happy in a celebrity setting...but Brexit, Holland and Trump have caused doubt in some Frenchies that were initially (slightly) sympathetic to the NF message.

On the $90K convo...that is totally a Biden quote. I remember when he said it. That was a couple months ago, iirc (at least that was the first time he said it). The question isn't about who was scared and didn't like the way Hillary reached out to them...the question is whether these same people will be any better in 2018, 2020 or 2025? Where things are now, I say no. It is highly probable, based on what I'm seeing, they will be worse. Maybe this fixation on 2016 Hillary will be the shiny keys that keep people's attention away from the struggle. The heroin and meth will stay cheap, though. There is that.

But rather than listening to him, the Dem's seem to continue their march in the opposite direction. Instead of trying to win Rust Belt blue collars back, the Dem's are turning up the hostility against them. The Dem's want to go even further left, and follow people who want to turn us into a Socialist utopia. Like Venezuela.

you should be angry that you aren't making $90K a year, not angry at the guy who is and says it isn't enough

too many of those people that aren't making it look to the government to make up the difference in their lives in the form of income security or support.
