Most people today have no idea who Ben Bradlee was.

Well DUH!!!

That's why the Today show used half of their hard news time allotment to cover his death. Producing 22 minutes of hard news while ignoring/protecting Obola means a lot of stretching....You wouldn't know there is an election coming up if you depend on Matt Lauer....negative Obola news is strictly verboten!!111

Speaking of the MSM, are they speculating that the Ottawa shooter is a member of the Tea Party? That's their usual M.O.

Holy canoli...low cost energy helps industry?? Impossible! We need to get back to $4/gal gas and shut coal down, now!!! How can you sell expensive electric cars w/cheap gas????

Want to see what lower oil prices do to an oil company's profits? Occidental Petroleum (OXY) reported earnings down 21 percent from the same period a year ago, although earnings per share of $1.55 were roughly in line with expectations of $1.57. Revenue was down 7 percent, even though average daily production was up.

Want to see what lower oil prices do to an airline company's profits? United Continental (UAL)'s quarterly profit surged about 82 percent. That's right, 82 percent. Earnings on a per share basis were $2.75 for the quarter, compared with $1.51 for the same period last year. Fuel costs are 20 percent to 30 percent of an airline's cost.

This graph is brought to you by Brent Bozell's "Media Research Center", a typical rwnj internet site "dedicated to exposing & combating liberal media bias, with a mission to advance, preserve, and help restore America's culture, character, traditional values, and morals againsts the assault of the liberal media." Bozell is most famous for giving an interview on Fox in which he said Obama had the appearance of a 'skinny ghetto crackhead' .

Heh. Restore America's culture, character, traditional values, and morals....seriously. And maybe shoo the pickaninnies off the lawn while they're at it.

Merely SOP, bbb. If toe posts a link or a source, the message is sometimes legit.

But If he doesn't...it never is.

Info Wars is for pure conspiracy nuts and white supremacists. Putin is a hero over there because he's white, Christian, and proud to defy the godless, queer, multiracial United States.

On another note...interesting article on how the GOP is close to losing Kansas

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/ne ... r-20141023

For those not paying attention to Kansas, longtime Republican Senator Pat Roberts is slightly behind a much younger, Independent (the Dem dropped out in order to boost the Independent's chances). The RCP average has Republican Governor Sam Brownback only slightly ahead of Democrat Paul Davis.

Roberts certainly hasn't been helping his own case. In February, The New York Times revealed that the senator, who began serving in Congress in 1981, had no home in Kansas. His voting address in Dodge City turned out to be a friend's house where, Roberts joked to the newspaper, "I have full access to the recliner."

"How much time do you think Bob Dole spent in Russell, Kansas, for crying out loud?" a Kansas political insider who wishes to remain anonymous asked me. "Roberts' campaign handled it terribly, though, and people got pissed. And Roberts looks like an old guy on the trail. He's tired. This Orman guy seems to be a slightly sleazy businessman. But he's rich. And Roberts is scared shitless."
